Tricky to install, but works perfectly
We purchased this teepee from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FH1SK3K/ for my 2-year old son. I could never get the legs to stay fully expanded and it seemed like it was constantly slack and on the verge of collapsing. Despite underwhelming reviews, I purchased this stabilizer and it works PERFECTLY. It is a little tricky to install because the instructions it comes with are terrible, so I'm attaching pictures in hopes it will help someone else with installation. Your teepee arms (***Mine has 4--not sure if this would work with more***) need to all be going in the same direction around the stabilizer. One wooden piece goes directly above the ties and the other wooden piece goes directly below them, above the fabric of the teepee.Overall, I am so happy I purchased this. My kid can now play freely in the teepee without it falling in and I can even pick it up and move it around without it collapsing.

Really works to stabilize the teepee!
We bought a teepee for our daughter in December and had to put it up shortly after she learned she could go under the sides instead of the proper opening. Once she did this the teepee would constantly collapse/move and become unsafe (she’s 1.5) so I purchased this stabilizer and it’s AMAZING. She still goes under the sides and peaks through the window (with almost all her weight on the teepee) and it doesn’t budge. I haven’t had to worry about the teepees shape changing since I installed this.

Tie it first then fixate it! Helps if you have more than one adult to help.
The only thing is, it’s hard to do that’s why I gave it 4 stars...especially by yourself But after multiple tries I figured it out. For this reason I haven’t put it up until now... bought it a year ago. I had the poles prepped and purchased paracord, but to no avail, I couldn’t get it secure! Frustrated I put it away. Tie first, feed the bolt through the bottom wood piece, between tied poles, and through top wood piece, and put wing nut at the top. In my instructions they had the wing nut on the bottom. Which is only asking for a kid to be impaled by the bolt. This way it is super sturdy. I’ve even lifted it up several times to move it. Completely still stable

Surprisingly effective.
This little gadget is an absolute must for anyone with kiddos and a teepee 😊It was a little frustrating putting it on and securing it. The first time I tried I was positive that it was worthless, but I gave it another go and I am so glad I did. We can pick the teepee up without it collapsing in on itself. It is amazing!! Definitely worth the money.

Tie first
It works, decent price, directions were sub par but I figured it out regardless. I would recommend tying the teepee first securely, than using this product to reinforce the tie. It took me a while to figure that out. Good luck.

No instructions and doesn’t work
First problem was that there are no instructions so I’ve just looked up videos online and looked at the photos on this product listing to attempt to figure it out. Next to impossible to install and once I got it the kids knocked the teepee right over. It doesn’t stabilize anything! Very disappointed. I really wanted this to work :(My wood pieces also look much smaller than the other review photos here

Just as described
Just as described and I like that you can choose how tight or loose you want to make it.
