Mark’s wife: I was feeling a little depressed about home decorating. Moved into a new house and struggled for the first 2 years with what to do. This book helped me to be inspired to conquer decorating area by area of my house. I love Joanna Gaines aesthetic. Her book is extremely helpful, beautiful, and I highly recommend. This isn’t just a good coffee table book, it is a prized resource.

I had barely started reading this book before I set it down and rearranged my living room. Thank you Joanna! My life and home are better off. The advice in the book is really good to break down how to approach designing rooms to live in and really reflect the people that use them (in a good way). I did wonder though about the people that have the homes included in the photos - it wasn't until I reached the end of the book that I finally saw chairs in the rooms where I'd actually want to sit. Most of the chairs/seating in the photos looked very hard and uninviting. If I visited any of these homes, I'd sneak in a comfy wingback chair so I could sit down and relax.

I feel like this makes a great addition to a closing gift. It could be really helpful for first home buyers or home owners in general to know design.

Purchased this as a gift to my mother who loves Jo and anything Magnolia related. While I haven’t gifted it to her yet I know she will love it and enjoy reading.

I love this book. I mean what’s not to love anything Johanna does? I’m definitely enjoying it besides that it looks really nice with my coffee table set up. I would definitely recommend

Easy to do

I love the introduction and recommendation to take time for personal reflection and critical thinking. Gaine's style feels contemporary with historical and personal touches. I will recommend it to my grand-daughters who are both in the initial process of decorating homes.

It’s a beautiful book. But I received it with a damaged cover, so that’s a big thumbs down. Anyway I decided to keep it since it’s so well written and informative. It’s a pricey book, so think before you buy.

El libro en sí es precioso. Viene con una caratula blanca de papel como en el anuncio pero yo se la quite porque debajo el libro está forrado en tela gris y me gustaba más.El contenido es muy completo y si buscas inspirarte esta muy bien además que aprendes a la vez.Repasa todas las partes de una casa, los diferentes estilos de decoración, los tipos de casas etc etc además de cada parte de una casa da trucos con los problemas más habituales.El libro está en inglés pero no es muy difícil si sabes algo, y si no tiras de Google traductor y aprendes jajajaA mi parecer es un poco caro, pero es verdad que esta hecho con mucho mimo tanto el contenido como visualmente.Si buscas solo un libro para decorar un estante o mesa tienes más baratos, si a parte de eso buscas aprender e inspiración compra este.

Muy buenas imágenes. Buenas ideas. La única pega el idioma: inglés, aunque ya lo sabía.
