Wand cord is way to thin and fragile. Review: Is actually green and orange (and smaller than you think) - I imagined this would be a similar size to the TSI IAQ meters and Graywolf sensing meters that I used to rent for IAQ surveys, but it is not. It's smaller (think hand-held) and the wand is also tiny (a little bit bigger than a standard highlighter). It has a built-in stand so that you can lean it on a surface while collecting measurements. The meter itself is green but has a bright orange case for if you accidentally drop it. Takes 6AAA batteries (comes with) and software for graphing data points for use in reports. Comes in a fairly large black plastic case - I use it to hold the IAQ meter and a moisture meter. Haven't used it in the field yet, but messing around with it in my house and outside, it looks like it will fit my needs for limited IAQ surveys. ## Features - Comprehensive Indoor Air Quality Testing - Accurately measures carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature, humidity, dew point, and wet bulb for complete environmental analysis. - Advanced NDIR CO₂ Sensor - Non-dispersive infrared technology provides reliable, stable, and long-term CO₂ monitoring for offices, schools, labs, and HVAC systems. - Powerful 20,000-Point Datalogger - Stores up to 20,000 sets of air quality data for easy long-term monitoring and transfer to PC for detailed reporting. - Backlit EasyView Display - Large LCD screen with backlight clearly shows multiple parameters simultaneously, even in low-light environments. - Portable & Professional Design - Features min/max/average/hold functions, programmable datalogging intervals, and battery or AC adapter operation for field or lab use. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0012VYI2C | | Best Sellers Rank | #707,171 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #455 in Industrial Data Loggers | | Brand | Extech Instruments | | Built-In Media | Extech EA80, Indoor Air Quality/ Datalogger | | Color | Green/Orange | | Customer Reviews | 3.3 out of 5 stars 2 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00793950411803 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 5.3"D x 2.8"W x 1.2"H | | Item Weight | 0.24 kg | | Manufacturer | Extech | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 6 months | | Mfr Part Number | EA80 | | Model Number | EA80 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Product Dimensions | 5.3"D x 2.8"W x 1.2"H | | Product Style | EA80 | | Sensor Type | Non Dispersive Infrared | | Style | EA80 | | UPC | 793950411803 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Upper Temperature Rating | 60 °C | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Extech Instruments - **Color:** Green/Orange - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00793950411803 - **Item Weight:** 0.24 kg - **Power Source:** Battery Powered - **Product Dimensions:** 5.3"D x 2.8"W x 1.2"H - **Sensor Type:** Non Dispersive Infrared - **Style:** EA80 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count - **Upper Temperature Rating:** 60 °C ## Images ![Extech EA80 EasyView Indoor Air Quality Meter and Datalogger - CO2, Temperature, Humidity, Dew Point, Wet Bulb, NDIR Sensor, 20,000 Data Set Logging, Backlit LCD - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OxNAz1e6L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Three Stars *by I***! on July 31, 2018* Poor quality.
