AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this basketball!!!! I play basketball so I've bought quite a few of them. Most of the basketballs I've had wore out before very long, and I always had to keep pumping them up. This is the best I have seen so far, because it doesn't get even slightly flat(thats why it says NeverFlat on it), it has great grip, and it doesn't wear out!! Trust me, if you're looking for a good basketball then this is the one to get. Also $25 is a great price for such a good quality ball!!!! You get Super Saver FREE shipping if you buy just one more item which only has to be 1 cent or more!! I went to my local sports store and those cost $40 or more; only one or two cost maybe $30. I still have this basketball and its still in great shape!!!

Pretty good ball - really doesn't loose air
Just picked this ball up again yesterday after having sat all winter and it still bounces like new.I really liked the grip on these when I tested them in stores. After using it over a year I can say the grip definitely changes, which is a little disappointing, but I still prefer it to most outdoor balls. A good ball for the money even without the neverflat gimmick. The only con at this pricepoint is that it comes a bit overinflated and the spot to let air out is a little hard to get to. You also technically void the neverflat guarantee if you mess with it, but it's going to hold air better than any ball you've ever had regardless.

The perfect ball for driveway hoops!
I've been using this ball on my asphalt driveway for a couple of months, and I'm still very happy with it. The ball arrived perfectly inflated, and it has remained so even after more than 100 hours of hard play. The ball has a nice grippy cover which is very durable and perfect for outdoor use. I much prefer this type of ball to the indoor/outdoor variety. Those kinds of balls start off great, but they tend to lose their tackiness rather quickly after being used outdoors. About the only negative thing I can say about this ball is that the outdoor cover can be a bit harsh on your fingers after a lot of play. I guess this is a trade-off that one has to make if they want an extremely durable ball.

Durable cheap basketball...
I'm a little torn on the rating I should give this basketball...I think when Spalding and any other basketball manufacturer says "premium composite leather" or "PU coated leather" its purposely misleading for most not familiar with the term. Its not leather at all, its rubber, which is fine. My issue is the "composite leather" on this ball felt very much like rubber. It didn't feel anything like some of the faux leather balls out there. Add to the fact that the picture looks like a leathery type basketball, I fell for it. Many of you already knew this, but I haven't purchased a basketball ball in about 10 years. I feel like a sucker. The best thing about this ball is the price ($20). The basketball itself is fine. The very rubberized rubbery rubber is very grippy, it came fully inflated (although I'd prefer it with a little more bounce, but you cannot tamper with the air valve for the first year or you will void the warranty), and it feels durable. That's great but I just cant get over the fact that its so cheap and rubbery.Personally, I feel this basketball is best suited to be bought in bulk by middle schools and high schools. Not for me. I'm going to send it back and purchase a more realistic fake leather ball (like the one I've had for 10 years).Edit: I did return this ball and bought the Spalding Tack Soft Basketball. Its about $2 cheaper and I think that's more along the lines of what I was picturing when I purchased this ball.

Flat after four months
I bought two of these balls on the same day from Amazon. One has been fine. The other went flat after less then four months. Both balls were used for just a few hours of play.Spalding says that they'll replace the defective ball but I'll need to pay nearly half the cost of a new ball just for shipping. Seriously -- these balls are made in China and probably cost Spalding less then a dollar each to make. Spalding should allow customers to just cut out the "NeverFlat" logo and mail it to them with their receipt in order to get a replacement. Many other reviewers have reported that these balls go flat after just a few months. There is obviously a quality control problem here. A good company would just replace the defective balls and pay for shipping in both directions.

Rough but manageable...
I've had the opportunity to play with this a bunch of times over the past month and I have to say that I really enjoy this ball for multiple reasons:1) It's hardcore beyond belief. I play on a court with trees to either side and don't have to worry about anything stabbing my ball to death (it's happened before). Barring some terrible SUV run-in, it's not going to die on me any time soon.2) The material is quite grippy. Even when it's a bit moist out I don't have to worry about being any worse of a ball handler than I normally am.Some not so amazing things about it:1) Unless you're a lumberjack, this thing is going to hurt your fingers. Maybe I just shoot oddly, but it seems to have a sandpaper effect at times - not a good thing if you enjoy playing for a while.2) It sounds REALLY WEIRD. I mean, realllllly weird. It reminds me a bit of those bouncy kickballs from grade school, except on steroids. Every single person I've played with has done a double-take, so don't buy if you like playing with negative Nellies.Overall, good ball. Don't anticipate any long-term issues.

The bounce is great and so is the feel
I had high expectations from this basketball, and it has really lived up to them. We have had some many basketballs, and they all got ruined very quickly. This one is really holding up. The bounce is great and so is the feel, and our boys constantly play with it. I usually tell them to put it inside after they are done playing, because the weather here can be brutal at times (which is one of the major reasons our balls get ruined), but they forget often and despite that it is still almost like new. It is more expensive than some other balls, but at least till now, the investment has been worth it. Maybe we will get the never-flat soccer ball also.

Lives up to expectations beautifully
My granddaughter had a cheap basketball which was hard to dribble. Bought her this one, and the difference was quite noticeable. She finds it much easier to perform the skills she learned in basketball camp this summer. Hopefully, with practice, she'll make the team this year. She just loves it.

Not for outdoors
Good product not for outdoors great indoors and comes fully inflated upon delivery

Great Outdoor only basketball
If you only plan to use this outside I'd recommend it, it's not grippy enough for indoor in my opinion. Have it a fair while still not flat, came inflated and it says you don't need to pump it for at least a year.
