Gifted & Talented: Grade Pre-K Reading, Writing & Math (Flash Kids Gifted & Talented) Paperback – June 25, 2007

My daughter (4) loves doing this workbook. Sometimes the questions can have more than one answer, but I imagine the test is like that too. There are also plenty of opportunities to color so its not all drills.***Update*** One week prior to the exam we did the practice test from the DOE and the questions were much less ambiguous than this workbook. She took the exam in January which was more stressful for me than her, but was very excited afterwards and felt like she only got one question incorrect. We received the results in April and she was in the 96th percentile which made eligible to apply to the district g&t program. I'm recommending this book to all of our friends.

Very useful book. Really helped my child get into the mindset of taking the Cogat.

I bought this for my 4 year old to use when I was busy helping his little sister with toddler things. He enjoyed it and only needed help with a couple of items in the book.

Found this in a higher grade for my older child, and her little brother is very interested in her workbook (also super excited they "match"). I am quite pleased with the quality of the worksheet in this book and look forward to continuing to use this company's gifted workbooks in the future. (Kids are age 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 and ahead approximately one year academically).

I use this with my 4 year old when he needs some busy work. Unless your 4 year old is a good reader, the parent will need to help and work through the pages with him/her. The colors are bright, the pictures are fun. Good material.

Well, with the help of the book, my kid got into the very competitive gifted Pre-K program in my area. Of course, he had learned most of the materials already, but the book helped him to get familiar with the way how different questions could be asked for the same problem.
