I had shopped locally for shams and couldn't find what I wanted (plain black to match a grey comforter). I found these on Amazon--and was happy to find just what I wanted and at a good price. They are basic--not heavy. They are well made and fit the pillow well. I have rated the "Durability" at 5 stars because I feel that they will hold up well. I've rated the "Comfort" at 5 stars because they are soft and do feel nice. I've rated the "Value for money" at 5 stars because the pair were essentially what I had priced for one sham locally. Very satisfied.

At first I was afraid they'd be a little see through since I could see my hand through them. But once they are on your white pillows, you can't see anything through them. If you have different color pillows, you might be able to see the color come through. Love the cute detailing around the edges. Adds some character to our bedspread!

They arrived on time and seem to be good quality. I just got them so can't speak to durability however since shams are more for looks than function, I assume they're very durable. Some people may expect the edges to be padded and stiff but they aren't. I knew that before buying and therefore wasn't disappointed at all.

I normally don’t write product reviews. The shams (and the standard size I also bought) are so, so soft, fit my pillows perfectly and look simple and beautiful on my bed. Highly recommend these and the price is right. A+

For the price they are ok. But the image of them is a bit misleading. The 2 inch edge does not stand up as pictured, it just droops limply. I am attaching a true pic and you can see how it just flops down. They are ok with the cute pillows in front of them, but really would not work as the main shams.****I am changing my star rating to 5 stars for the seller, not the product. She contacted me and gave me a full refund for these shams. Therefore the seller deserves 5 stars for customer satisfaction! She also told me she would be looking for a new vendor who provides a better quality product. I dont think anyone could ask for more from a seller!

Should have listened to other reviews. These came with several stains that look suspiciously like poop, one of which you can see in the photo. Of course, these aren't eligible for return so they just have to go in the trash. Absolute garbage.

European sham measurements: LAID FLAT: 30" square; INTERIOR: 26" square; FLANGE (outer border): 2" from outer edge to stitching (all sides).These shams will fully (if not a bit loosely) accommodate 26" square European square ("Euro square") pillows. TIP: If you prefer your pillows to look fully plump, without being over-stuffed, then 28" sq. or even 30" sq. Euro pillows will fill these shams out very nicely. See my photo of this sham with a 30" square pillow inside; it fills the sham plumply to the inner border stitching on all sides. ANOTHER TIP: If you like your Standard or "Standard/Queen" pillow cases to be completely filled, end to end, without the extra flap of fabric on the open end, buy 20" W x 30" L true Queen-size pillows. (Not 28" L or 26" L.) Your pillows will always like much nicer on your bed, your head will have more room, and two "true Queen" pillows will span the full width of a 60" W queen mattress.

The cases arrived wrinkled and covered in tons of tiny black spots. I can only assume it is mildew or some other kind of mold. Disgusting. It's such a shame, too, because besides that the cases seemed nice - soft and everything. Total waste of money.

It is comfortable to rest my head on a warm pillowcase immediately instead of having to brace myself for the cold shock which reminds me that I have a bald head.

I bought these had to send straight back as the king was far too big never heard of two sizes before for Oxford pillow cases so was not happy cause it cost me £3.99 to send them back and reorder the smaller size so in the long run they worked out expensive

Cases arrived speedily. They were disappointing as they had no structure to the border so were floppy. Although soft they just did not seem to be correct material for the item. I returned them but was given a speedy refund.

Soft. Strong colour. Nice. Good value. Only thing is - they seem very large. American measurements maybe?Arrived very quickly.
