I have had my turbietwists for about 10yrs now and they are good. I’ve had no unraveling or breakage at the band. They’re good but I have a lot of hair and was looking for something a little longer/bigger to better hold my hair in( for reference, I have hair that goes to mid/lower back). Alas, I found this listing! From the photos showing it being much larger than others I quickly bought it and just got it today. I was a little disappointed... only because it was not any bigger or longer than my current turbietwists. I think if you are looking for something like a turbietwist but cheaper-this is for you! It’s even I tiny bit thicker than my turbietwist (but that may be because it’s brand new vs. 10yrs old? Idk) If you’re looking for something bigger than turbietwist, this is not it. But still a good product for the cost. I would recommend if you have hair at least above your bra line and shorter. Otherwise you will have to take the excess and tuck it into the twist.

I read the negative reviews. Some seemed unrealistic or just didn't describe what was wrong. Limited vocabulary users-'just junk', 'garbage', 'waste of money'.I have waste long hair, thick. This is very easy to put on. Look at the picture, if it doesn't work for you, try it backwards-button in front, middle. Put it on like a towel. If you're hair is waist long, no it's not going to fit length wise, neither will it fit in a towel. Take the last couple of inches and wrap around long end then twist and fold over to top of head. Like a towel. In place, secured but most important-not as heavy as a towel. I don't use the clips. Just the button. Practice a couple of times. Like you had to when you first started doing it with a towel.Will your hair be completely dry when you unwrap? Unrealistic expectations. It will not be dripping. The same as a good quality towel, without the bulk and heaviness.

Update: when I contacted the company via the email provided in the package because my button fell off the second I opened the package, they immediately made it right and replaced my item. That is good customer service and standing by your product!Original review:Well great concept but the button fell off my green one right out the package first use! I wouldn’t buy these ones if the button just falls off before use... photo shows packaging and the wonderful button that is no longer attached. I’m so disappointed!

I ordered these hair towels for my daughters extra curly hair. Regular bath towels were just way too rough and her hair was clearly not happy. Since switching to these towels, it has made an incredible difference! Her curls are more lively, look healthier, and her hair looks so much better overall! We will usually leave the hair towel on her hair until right before she goes to bed; it;s probably about an hour or so. Her hair is mostly dry by this time. I also love that it's a set of two (kids aren't exactly great at keeping up with something like a hair towel) and also the clips. It's versatile enough that we can both use it! I love this product and it was a great deal. I definitely recommend it and will likely be buying another set myself!

I have dreadlocks and this towel definitely absorbs water much better than a normal towel without shedding little fuzzies in my hair. It’s a little on the small side. My locks are about down to my shoulder blades and I have to kind of tuck it up inside the towel. If you had really long/thick hair or locks, this may not work for you. Overall, I’m pleased! This has definitely shortened my dry time by a lot.

These hair towels are great! They're extra long (for long hair) and very absorbent. They actually cut down on my blow-drying time (I've got shoulder-length, medium textured hair). My daughter has very long, curly hair and she loves them too. I've ordered hair towels before and they're thin, or too small. These are great and I'm thrilled to have them.(Note that I paid full price for these with my own money and did not receive any compensation for my honest review)
