Stetson Diaz Outdoor Western hat for Men - Chinstrap and Flexible Brim - Cowboy hat Factor 40+ UV Protection - with Cotton in Washed-Out/Distressed Design - Summer/Winter

The hat is fantastic quality and clearly the Stetson standard. It was a little large despite measuring the other halfs head but it was easy fixed with small leather sizers. He is absolutely delighted. Came quickly and well packaged.

Ok to start with the hat arrived way before the stated delivery date, only took 3 days to arrive from Germany to UK.It arrived well packaged in a huge box.The hat itself is a joy to behold. It oozes quality and style. I was torn between buying the Stetson Diaz or a cheaper, similar style for nearly half the price. Im so glad I went for the Stetson.The hat looks amazing, think ArthurMorgan style.It's comfy and has stood up to sun and rain in the last week.The stitching is quality and the material though distressed looking is clearly hard wearing. The wire through the brim seems hard but flexible, easy to shape for whichever style you prefer.After much deliberation I went for the size smaller as advised and it fits perfectly.The leather chin strap looks cool but I'll probably never use it.

The title speaks for itself, it's a good hat, proper quality and serves its puprpose perfectly but in my opinion it doesn't feel as expensive as its price tag.One thing to note; I see a lot of reviews stating that the sizes are a little larger than expected. Well in my case, my head measures at 59.5cms and after having decided to head those warnings, I ordered the Large size (59cms) and as a result, the hat is small-ish. It's entirely my fault obviously, I should had just ordered the XL.

The Stetson is iconic and much like we call all Vacuum Cleaners Hoovers, then when many people think of cowboy hats they think of the Stetson, as if it was the name of a hat style rather than a brand. Stetson actually make many different styles of hats and not only the cowboy type. However the hat I bought was a cowboy style, A Stetson Diaz to be specific and I own a lot of hats (more than twenty) but most of them are cheap and although some of them look really good you can immediately see the difference in quality and craftsmanship when you look at this Stetson hat.I love it - it fits perfect and is so comfortable. Also the weathered look gives the appearance that I've owned it since a certain shootout in Tombstone in 1888, but it's a good look not a tatty, aged look and I fully expect to get many years out of this hat. Whilst I may not be around in 2088 I fully suspect that this hat will be, maybe worn by a great grandson.It's bloody brilliant...love it. Nuff said.

The hat is everything expected

Delivery was quick, the only thing I would say is that the packaging was poor with it scrunched up in a bag. However, I let it settle for a few hours and it returned to shape. The sizing is a little bit on the big size so advise you go for the next size down. You can tell the quality just so you are aware that this was made by Stetson Europe in Germany. However, the quality is still great

Unfortunately the sizing is a bit off. Sizing suggested I was ordering an ‘L’ size based off of the size comparison charts for US sizes. Hat that arrived was ‘XL’ and not ‘L’ rather than being 71/3 - 7 1/2. It was actually 7 1/2 - 7 5/8.

Great hat. So good that I ordered two in each size because I like to have a spare in case of loss of breakage. They really are amazing quality! The slightly weathered look is perfect. I'm no cowboy, (I'm from the UK) but. pair of jeans and white-T and I'm happy. I'm outdoors a lot and these protect me well. Love this hat.

Disliked that the box wasn't in a shipping box but a flimsy box and had got squished buy other packages. Like the hat alot. Darn delivery driver wrote address all over box and was disappointed it was for a gift.

Le style western ou baroudeur australien est au rendez vous avec un petit côté Indiana Jones si on extrapole un peu. Avec un tour de tête de 58,3 cm, et sur conseil du vendeur Chapeaushop, j'ai commandé ce chapeau dans la taille 58-59 cm et ce malgré les avis des clients disant que ce chapeau taille un peu grand. Le fait est qu'il me taille un petit peu grand mais j'ignore si la taille en dessous aurait convenu. D'ailleurs, autant on peut diminuer le tour de tête du chapeau trop grand avec des bandes de liège (conseils de Chapeaushop) autant c'est impossible d'élargir un chapeau trop petit. Contrairement à un Jean's ou une paire de chaussures cuir un peu rigides, un chapeau ne s'élargit pas. J'ai donc décidé de garder celui que j'ai reçu et j'ai commandé un jeu de bandelettes en liège vendues par le même vendeur.En attendant je vais "tricher" avec des bandelettes de carton fin, on verra bien.Le chapeau est très chouette et comme dit un commentateur, on peut en changer la forme car le rebord est renforcé par un fil de fer et c'est facile de se donner un look cowboy, ou un style randonneur baroudeur ou pêcheur, etc...S'il se déforme un peu, c'est facile de lui redonner la forme d'origine.L'aspect est entre le coton huilé et le cuir. Lanière en cordon de cuir, un peu raide mais elle devrait s'assouplir je pense avec le temps, sinon j'essaierai avec un assouplissant spécial cuir.La qualité de finition Stetson est au rendez-vous.Je regrette un peu que le chapeau ne soit pas pas emballé dans un carton, lequel aurait été placé dans un carton plus grand. En effet, me concernant, il était placé dans un cerclage de renfort en carton puis placé dans un carton. Mais malheureusement, par son propre poids le chapeau s'est un peu affaissé et avachi. Pourtant le carton d'emballage était en parfait état. J'ai dû lui redonner sa forme avant de l'essayer. Mais fort heureusement, comme j'ai écrit plus haut, le chapeau reprend facilement sa forme grâce au rebord renforcé en fil de fer.Il me reste à le tester en extérieur, il faut chaud autour de moi. Je verrai alors s'il est adapté à des chauds. Je compléterai ce commentaire au fur et à mesure des expériences.Pour son look et sa modularité je recommande vivement ce chapeau pourvu que vous aimiez son style western baroudeur/baroudeuse.
