Lee Precision 300 SAV Pacesetter Dies

Heck, I don't even own a 300 Savage, and I LOVE these dies!I bought them as a budget alternative to reload for my good friend's daughter, who uses an 742 Woodsmaster.. I am an experienced handloader with over 35 years' experience and i usually use more expensive dies for my own precision rifle ammo. I did a little research and found a likely load that used 150 grain Sierra Game Kings and loaded up 40 rounds for the young woman. She took them to the range the next day, and sighted in with them. She had been getting 2 inch groups out of the rifle with various commercial ammo. My handloads gave her 2 groups under 1.5 inches at 100 yards. I didn't even know a 742 was capable of that kind of accuracy. She was happy, and I am scratching my head wondering if I should have spent all that money on those expensive dies for the ammo that I shoot.

Lock nuts leave a lot to be desired. Replaced them with Hornady lock Rings.
