The size is perfect for cleaning large fruit, sliding bread & breakfast sandwiches. Value is good. It looks great, is versatile and excellent qualty.

Supposed to be sharp out of the box. I spent a solid hour in two 30 minute sessions and can't even cut a tomato with this thing. Gonna see if I can reach out to customer support. I wouldn't pay $1 for a knife this dull, but at least I would expect it at that price. $40 for a knife that wouldn't cut my finger even if I tried.....no thanks. Edit: switching to 5 stars. Dalstrong support is top notch. They had me a new knife in like 3 days and, holy moly, this thing is SHARP! Honestly, sharpest knife out of the box I’ve ever owned. Not sure what happened with the first one, but they made me a happy and soon to be repeat customer. Thank you team Dalstrong!

Another impressive knife by Dalstrong I thoroughly enjoy using this knife for many reasons. First of all the packaging for the shadow black series is very sleek and definitely my favorite. The size of this utility knife is perfect for just that, utilizing it in situations were a larger knife would be unsafe or just overkill. Really sharp right out of the box and weighted very nicely. Now unfortunately the negative aspects the kept this from a 5 star rating. Considering the beauty and design of the packaging it's a shame the the same attention to detail wasn't paid to the knife handle, specifically the area where the handle meets the cutting edge of the blade. If you zoom in you'll nice a 45°ish angle going into the blade where ones index finger might grip. Not a huge issue if you notice it, but an inexperienced hand might run into issues. Other than that my only other gripe is the blade guard, nice design but just a standard blade gaurd. I guess I just expect something nicer. All in all a truly excellent knife.

Nothing to dislike. VERY distinctive design. The best I’ve come across. Super sharp right out of the box! Since this purchase I’ve bought two more to add to my kitchen knife collection of these exquisite knives; very reasonably priced too.

Im a professional chef, and this knife has a solid place in my knife bag. Sleek and stylish. It sets me apart from the rest of the chefs in my line of work. Holds an edge for quite some time. Surprisingly comfortable handle, it will toughen up your calluses tho.

I love the design of the knife, but the phantom series box was more elegant in my opinion. Also, the blade came to me dull and looked like someone had used it prior. I was saddened since I was gonna gift it to my sister, but I ended up keeping for myself. The blade itself is okay, but I wish it was sharp :/

I really enjoy this knife. It looks longer in the photo than it actually is. I thought it was a similar size as a bread knife and I would use it as a dual knife for bread and meats. Cute bread very well tho, just not as long as it should be for clean slices.

Tja, dieses Messer sieht schön aus und man könnte auch meinen, dass sie von jemanden Professionellen hergestellt wurde , aber dem ist nicht so. Mein Meister hat mir erzählt, dass die Form des Messers (falls man abrutscht und das kann beim schnellen Schneiden oft passieren) die Finger direkt in die Klinge laufen lassen (Wie man dem ersten Foto entnehmen kann) 2. Es ist zwar ein gutes Zeichen, dass das Metall der Klinge über den Griff geht, aber es geht bis komplett nach unten, sodass es passieren kann, dass das Gummi über die Zeit abfällt. Sehr unhilfreich. 3. Die Griffe der Messer sind nicht schwarz. Die sehen super schmutzig aus. Auf meine Nachricht wurde auch nicht reagiert. Klar, es gibt eine lebenslange Garantie (angeblich) , aber die gilt natürlich auch nur solange, wie das Messer hergestellt wird. Sehr guter Marketing-Trick. Feststellung: Aussehen 3 von 5 Sternen , alles andere ist eine komplette Katastrophe.

This is an amazing, must-have in your kitchen knife!!! I love the fact that is very light yet sharp and strong. The handle seems to just belong in the palm of your hand so it makes cutting your vegetables when preparing a meal extremely easier and faster than when you're using an ordinary knife. Will definitely recommend this to all my friends!
