I bought two of these cushions for her and I added a 2-inch wide of 1-inch thick, soft foam under the covers to fill in the depressions in the original foam meant to help hold the arms in place. Luckily her chair is wide enough to provide 2-inches on each side of her hips to allow the cushions to come down to rest on her Roho seat cushion. At the back the Skil-Care cushions are tucked between her U-Fit backrest and the armrests so are held in place and do not move. They support her arms well and eliminate pressure points. She no longer complains of numbness in her arms. As well, the sides of the cushions plus her backrest help keep her back straight and reduce the weight on her arms when she leans.
