I am trying to get more collagen in my diet to heal leaky gut. I usually use homemade bone broth and collagen powder additives to food and drink. I decided to try EVOWELL Collagen Gummies. To be completely honest I take a few different gummy vitamins and probiotic supplements because they are like a candy treat for me, I don't eat much candy as I try to not have it in the house lest I devour it in large quantities quickly. These Evowell are heart shaped gummies with a serving size of 2 per day and a warning to not eat more than 8 in a 24 hour period. So the 2 gummies (1 serving) has 96 mg of collagen. The sweetness is from cane sugar (first ingredient) and corn syrup (second ingredient). The good strong fruit flavor is achieved by natural and artificial flavors. The collagen is from pectin and citric acid. Color is from betacarotene. As I enjoy these candy like collagen supplements I have researched the difference between using beef bones for collagen and gelatin versus lab created pectin and am having trouble finding that question answered exactly. Except for vegans who refuse the animal source of gelatin which leaves pectin as the only option. Rating 4 stars = Like It.

These collagen gummies are not just a tasty snack. They are supposed to make one's skin, nails and hair look beautiful. In my case that will take some doing. But in the past eating more collagen has seemed to help. I've started eating 2 of these gummies a day. I'll check in the mirror -- or better yet with my wife -- to make sure that they fulfill their promise. And I'll let you know.UPDATE: Both my mirror and my wife tell me no improvement to skin and hair. My nails seem the same as well. The bottle is empty, and the results don't justify getting another one. Maybe 30 days of 2 gummies a day is not enough, but that's all I'm giving it. Too bad -- I could have used a little more beauty.

They are on the very sweet side - the 2 primary ingredients are sugar and corn syrup. The ingredient list also says they contain natural and artificial flavors, and unfortunately they have a weird, sort of lasting flavoring. The best way to describe it is like an artificial tropical apricot. It is pectin based (not gelatin), but it's not clear where the collagen is derived and it's not labelled vegan or vegetarian. The pectin is soft and pretty easy to chew.

There are 96 mg of protein per two gummy serving.This supplement is pectin based, but does not indicate it is an animal free product. It is gelatin free.We all can use extra collagen for healthier skin and bones. It is also supposed to help reduce fat and build muscle.Whether I can reduce fat, have healthier, younger looking skin, and stronger bones, time may tell. Meanwhile, consuming these tasty supplements is a pleasant way to find out.

A tasty apricot type flavor - quite like a candy. I consider the texture an bit soft and not very chewy in the typical gummy manner. Disappears very quickly, so no teeth residue. Made in USA, pectin-based, gluten-free, gelatin-free. A serving of 2 gummies is 17 calories and provides 96 mg collage . . . for healthy hair, skin and nails.
