Case for Kindle Oasis 2017/2019 (7 inches, 9th/10th Gens Only) Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep — will not fit Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Oasis 6 inches, Alice

The library design is surely the book lover’s choice! Although there are many vibrant and well printed designs to choose from. This is a snug fitting, protective case. The magnetic sleep/wake works perfectly on the latest Kindle Oasis 3. Excellent value for money (especially when compared to expensive bespoke items). It also all fits snuggly in a slip case like the Walnew. The only thing I changed was to run a black marker pen round the white edges of the vinyl print. Personal choice of course, but my only negative easily sorted!! Recommended (if you want a simple, functional case that doesn’t add too much bulk). And there’s also the library print to remind you of your “happy place” too of course! :-) - (updated with full cover library graphic photo...how cosy does that look?!)

I Don't change my Kindles often & they are in Perfect order .... My Original Kindle Keyboard is pristine ... Because it has always been in a case !!So after picking up a new Kindle Oasis I wanted to treat it to the same ...I wanted something light & with a nice look . I picked this as I thought the "Oldy Worldy Bookcase" a great & fitting design .It arrived promptly & it was easy to slot my Kindle in & I could still access the charge port on the bottom.It's nice to Hold in the hand with a slight texture ...I did find that I was sat in the sun reading with the cover turned back & after an hour of reading it had bent slightly out of shape so that when |I closed my Kindle it didn't auto turn off ... This was easily remedied by turning the kindl over & just laying it the other way so the weight kept the front cover close .After 5-10 mins I turned it over again & all was fine ... It was just the heat on that day !.All in all a great case that I am happy with ... How the folds hold up in time is any-ones guess but at £15.99 it was protecting a £300+ Kindle and if i need to change it after 18 months then so be it !!Hope this helps ...

I purchased this case for my Kindle Oasis 10th Gen. It's an excellent fit and clips into place securely. I loved the variation of designs available. I purchased 'Alice and the Dragon' which is very cute and colourful. The sleep/wake function works perfectly. It has a very fine texture which feels fairly smooth. The cases do add slight weight, but this is fine, unless you have sensitivity to this (in which case, I believe vinyl skins are available for Kindles to protect the body from scratches). Overall a good, sturdy, protective cover for the price. I would definitely buy again.

Only just purchased this but on unboxing , the case looks nice. It fits the Kindle Oasis nice and snuggly and has cut outs for the charging port and power button . Even better it has a wake up facility so you don't waste battery life , although with a Kindle that's not usually an issue. It folds back on its own spine and you can hold the kindle with the case cover held against the back of the device but you lose the benefit of the Oasis' unique grip feature if you do this. If they wanted to make it perfect, the case would have another fold in the front cover so you could fold it back on itself and hold the Kindle Oasis as it's meant to be. That's not a deal breaker though and for the money the case seems very good indeed. Can't comment on durability yet though as I haven't had it long enough.

Well fitting case which offers good protection but since buying this case in January this year both corners to the top and bottom to the right hand side cracked and fell off, although this didn't appear to affect the cases grip on my Kindle. Now the top left hand corner has cracked similarly and is now held on by the applied vinyl decoration. The decorative finish has also rubbed to show the white backing to the corners, the spine and to the ramped section where the Kindle changes thickness. The case is still usable and I will probably still buy a replacement simply because I like the library design. I should also say that I have used the Kindle for several hours daily and have not dropped it so I believe the cracking from stresses at the corners.

Very attractive design which fits the new Kindle as it was designed to do. This case means the Kindle doesn't slip out of my hand so readily. The case follows the contours of the Kindle exactly. The cover will fold right back but does cover the unique shaped back to the Kindle, so my preference is not to do so. When the cover is closed the Kindle is put to sleep and it reawakens when the cover is opened just as expected. Of course the overall weight of the Kindle is increased but not enough to interfere with lengthy reading sessions! It is considerably cheaper than the Amazon's own product as well.

This case, is sturdy but adds a some bull and slight weight to the kindle. These factors are worth it, to protect an item that costs as much as it does. My kindle fell from a shelf, on it's corner, the case itself took a slight dent but the kindle itself was in perfect condition. So just for those freak accidents or if you are accident prone this is worth a purchase. Also the case is nice to look at as well when laying on a bedside table or in an office.

Very pleased with this cover. There is a hard plastic rear part, which completely encloses the Kindle. The plastic is about 2mm thick, and encloses the four corners. So it should give protection against dropping - the metal frame of the Kindle looks as if it should easily dent and then break the glass if it's dropped, so having this protection is reassuring. The black plastic frame wraps so neatly around the Kindle that it really looks as if it's part of the device. The front cover is a hard spongy surface that can be folded behind when reading. I also use it as a prop to support the Kindle. The case is nice and light, so doesn't make much difference to the overall weight. Great value for money, recommended.
