The pan is amazing! Well constructed, sturdy, and heats evenly throughout the cooking surface which is not always the case with cast iron pans. I was able to hold a steady simmer, and the non-stick surface was phenomenal! The entire cooking surface was clean with just one swipe after I made eggs! As a seasoned pan, you need to do a little maintenance after each time using it, but really that just boils down to putting a little oil in it and throwing it in the oven for a bit. Since it was pre-seasoned and they included oil right in the box, I was able to finish the seasoning and begin cooking with it right away, because all of the up-front hard work had already been done!If you are looking for a new pan, and you want something that could last a lifetime and help you cook better in the kitchen, these ICON pans are the best bang for the buck. You won't regret your purchase.

I'm not one to give negative reviews, but I have to admit that I am quite disappointed in this skillet. I seasoned it per the instructions, and lightly coat with oil after each use but everything I have cooked so far has done nothing but make a big mess in this skillet! I will continue to use it and I will update my review if things improve, but so far, I'm sorry to say, this was a waste of money.....

Its absolutely gorgeous and IF YOU KNOW WHAT A CAST IRON PAN IS -then you should have no problem with the usage and enjoyment of such a fine kitchen tool. I literally can'y fathom the neg reviews - how daft can one be? READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU HAVE NO CLUE JEEZ!

The pan does not have a flat bottom. It wobbles so much it is not usable. The pan heats only in the area that makes contact. A total waste of money. I have photos & videos showing how bad it is. I hope to exchange it but I am worried this is the low quality this company produces.

I have very high hopes for this expense of sauce pan. I followed the directions and when it says on top of my oven, it doesn’t sit flat, at all!! So that means there’s less, much less, contact between my electric stove and this sauce pan. I have no idea if it’s a faulty product or individual item.

I received the skillet quicker than stated. After frying potatoes I feel in love with it. It is light weight, with all the benefits of cast iron.

I do not like cast iron because it always sticks. This is being sold as nonestick, not true. I followed all instructions to break it in. Repeated it several times. This nothing but a regular cast iron skillet that sticks.

I didn't get the chance to use it because it came already used abd scuffed! What else can I say, it's not too heavy.
