Sad and humorous at times!😢😀
I think this was a great book, I am reading it for a program at my school called battle of the books (or BOTB for short). In BOTH we choose teams (which are later confirmed by our librarian). We have practices with the teams where we practice questions. The questions are very specific like In which book was there a jolly rancher in a bowl!? When we are done with practices all teams to against one another top see who gets the most questions right, the top 2 teams to up against another school participating in the program. My team The Book Sisters is looking good and we hope we can win! Back to the actual review, this is a very emotional but humorous book it really takes the cake! I'm BOTB or not you should definitely read this book

A much have for young readers and those young at heart.
I really enjoyed this book. Rita Williams-Garcia does a great job of telling the story through the eye of the main character.I’ve enjoyed the books I’ve read by this author.

I bought this for my friend who is a Blues Man in the hopes he would read this together with his grandson. It's a very sweet story.

Great Book!
This is the greatest book. My son and I loved it. I love the fact that death wasn't scary and Clayton went on his own adventures while dealing with grief. Death brought people closer and that was pretty phenomenal.
