THE LEGRAND ON-Q CO1045 IS THE BEST TELECOM DISTRIBUTION BLOCK FOR USE IN AN ON-Q PANEL
If you currently use or are installing a LeGrand On-Q Panel, this is the Telecom Distribution Block which is specifically designed for use in the On-Q ecosystem. The On-Q CO1045 has one RJ-45 Telco Input Port, 10 RJ-45 output/distribution ports and one RJ-31X port for connecting an alarm panel dialer. The RJ-31X has a bypass switch to prevent that port from having line seizure control, which allows this port to also be used as an eleventh output. All 12 ports are terminated on a printed circuit (PC) board where all four pairs are bridged, so any port can serve as the input, while the rest are used for output/distribution.Since it is all RJ-45 with all four pairs bridged, up to four Telco lines can be distributed with this block.Overall, the physical construction is decent. The CO1045 block mounts on a supplied On-Q backplate which is specific to the On-Q panel backboard. Mounting the CO1045 to the On-Q backboard could not be easier or quicker, and dismounting is just as quick and simple. The Antronix 8 output port splitter imposes -11dB of signal loss. Unless the incoming TV signal levels are high, that level of signal loss could be problematic. It is common for a signal amplifier, or at least a unity gain amplifier / splitter to be installed when splitting out that many TV ports. The coax splitter is pre-mounted on an angle bracket for attaching it to the CO1045 mounting backplate. It is depicted as being top mounted, however the CO1045 can be mounted to the backplate in opposite orientation whereby the slots for attaching the coax splitter are beneath the CO1045. I have installed it both ways, depending on space availability inside the On-Q panel. The On-Q CO1045 is for telephone distribution only. It is not designed for Ethernet data, and I truly doubt that it would meet the performance levels of any of the contemporary LAN wiring / data communications standards. There are not many RJ-45 to RJ-45 telephone distribution blocks / panels manufactured. Most installations of structured wiring systems for Voice and Data are made on 110 punch-down blocks bridged to RJ-45s for patching. For an installation with all telephone cables terminated with RJ-45 plugs (or RJ-11 or RJ-12s) the CO1045 is the perfect, ready to use connecting block / patch panel. For installation in an On-Q Panel, the CO1045 is absolutely the best choice.

Legrand... Over priced but they own you
Way over priced for what you get. However, if you're looking at this you have a Legrand box to upgrade and are screwed because they're the only ones that make anything to fit their box.You don't have a Legrand box buy something else. If you're thinking about a Legrand box, don't. A sturdy set of shelves or a backless cabinet with better quality, cheaper components is the way to go.

Great price !!
Great price- must have been a close out. Bought 4 of them for the telephone block connections. Did not need the TV RF splitter so took it off for maybe later use on another project. Legrand stuff is good stuff!!

These work very well but a little pricey.

Good Combo Option
Seemes a bit pricy, but not too bad considering it's a phone/coax combo. Easily mounts and is a good option for anyone who still has a phone in their house.
