Best Vegan Chili Option
I am so happy to find this product. I am doing a low calorie diet that also has to be plant-based, and this chili gives me energy for HOURS. It tastes great, but I just like to add a little somethin' for my own tastes (salsa, smoked paprika, chipotle pepper). I am going to have it with a veggie corn dog, so it will be like having a chili dog and cornbread. I can't wait! Half a can with all my fixins, and extra bump of protein from some Boca crumbles, and 5 saltines, and it's only 300 calories and absolutely satisfying. This is a staple for our household now. My hubby likes it too! By itself or jazzed up, it's my new fave.

Just like the real thing!
This is a great vegetarian chili, esepically if you are looking for the texture and mouthfeel of a meat chili. It has bits of some sort of vegetable protein in it, giving you the feel of ground beef. Other vegetarian chilis have a more bean-forward mouthfeel, without the textured vegetable protein that simulates meat.

Vegan and really good
For all the canned chilis I've tried this is the one I come back to. I'm a vegan, and use it to make a chili cornbread casserole - it has TVP for extra texture; I normally add some extra chopped peppers, onions and corn. Overall it's super quick, easy to use, and a great sub when you need a good vegan chili (but, of course, sodium is super high).

Good
I was hesitant to get a Hormel product that says vegetarian but this tastes good. There is jalapeno listed in the ingredients after the garlic, but there's no pepper taste and no detectable heat. Chile powder, hot sauce, and lots more garlic all help. Not showing the nutrition label is rather a ditch move. It's high sodium, 1340mg per can. That's way over my salt budget l but this is flavorful and about as tame nutritionally as I can find. If Hormel can make a vegetarian product that tastes good maybe someday they'll make something low sodium.

Hormel Chili is Hormel Chili
Wanted Vegetarian-esque Chili dogs. Made it my meal prep dinner for after work as a quick fix, typed with cheese & onion on Martin's potato rolls.

Perfect tasting chili.
I love these. I'm vegetarian and I was looking for a way to have chili without having to chop vegetables and spend time cooking it, since I don't cook much. At first I though I might not like it, or that it wouldn't have flavor, I was wrong. This chili is perfect, it tastes great and is easy to heat up. The only thing I'd change is to have less sodium in it, soo I could enjoy it more often.

Delicious but too salty
I do not like too much sodium and this has too much sodium. Please stop killing us with too much sodium. However, that said, this is delicious and I eat it on days when I am very careful about the sodium in everything else I eat. This is deliciously spicy but not overwhelmingly hot, and good with plain rice to tone down the heat. I have not found this in stores.

Arrived damaged!
So beat up that I couldn't bring myself to eat it, deep dents around both seals. Gross!
