Works good!
The snap together feature was a little tricky to get it secure. Didn’t feel like a solid fit. We’ll see.

Float snaps into base :( IS WEAK CONNECTION POINT
Weak flimsy plastic base / the way float snaps intoBase is weak.. marine sealant / glue / common sense/The plastic fortunately was malleable so I bent the connection tabs for more secure fit,,Wiring an quality/ appearance is Top notch good..18 gauge wire..tested switch after install…WIRE SWITCH IN WITH GROUND SIDE (for you novices)

As good as most float switches around, low cost.
Most float switches available now are very poor quality. Jabsco, Johnson versions are genrally poor, attwood make a decent one but cost is well over double of this one. I reckon you'll get 1-4 years off most on the market MAXIMUM. However, most pumps fail due to poor wiring splices or crimps, so I would use these over a $60 one and use resin connectors and/or heatshrink. Don't over-torque the screws when you fit them to the bilge or the bracket. I would always fit these to a thin/long basic 'L' shape stainless bracket that holds it low in the bilge, for easy install and replacement. Durability 4 stars is because they're all made poorly now, mine are holding up well so far.

Different Base then other brand Bilge Switchs
This is more of a tip then a review. The base is slightly different then the base made by Seachoice. For me, this was a big deal since I was replacing a Seachoice switch. The float was in a hard to reach spot so it was a PIA. If I knew this, I would've purchased the float from Seachoice.

Automatic bilge pump switch PERFECT
I used this float switch to install an automatic bilge pump. The entire system now works exactly as intended. If the water in the bilge trace a depth to activate the float switch it removes all the water day/night because it is direct wired to the battery. It was very easy to install and had instructions easy to follow.
