Altama Men's Maritime Assault Mid

These have rocketed to the top spot on my fav boot list. They are comfortable and durable. The tread holds up wonderfully. You can feel the ground but they offer great cushion and support. I have a multi-level spine fusion and I can happily wear these all day! A++ Altima, well done!!!

Very comfortable. The sole rubber is harder than average shoes so they have a tap dancing sound when walking on hardwood floors. I would purchase again

I think this is a perfect "Jack of all trades" sort of boot. The first thing I noticed is that they're constructed pretty well. I was afraid they'd feel cheap and fragile like many shoes do today, but they're quality boots.I've read online that you should order a size up, but thankfully that wasn't the case for me - I'm normally a size 12 regular and the fit is a dead ringer.Wearing them, it feels like a modern basketball shoe in every respect. I have no issues running or driving a car with a manual gearbox, which is a major plus. They're comfortable all day, walking or standing.These are not full fledged combat or hunting boots. They're a perfect middle ground between a boot and an athletic shoe. But I think that short of serious hard use in the wilderness, these are the perfect compromise for a pair of boots. I love them!

These shoes are sturdy and fairly lightweight. The rubber sole could be a bit more comfortable.

I have had pairs of these for the last 6 years. They're pretty much outdoor chucks that will last. I have used them for weight lifting, outdoor activities and have handled my military field events with no issues.

I think I'm on my 4th or 5th pair now. These shoes are great for everyday use. I primarily wear them for walking my dog in all different kinds of weather, we typically go 3-5 miles a day.

They are true to size and work good for patrol/SWAT callouts. They are not however practical for long periods of standing.
