I make a lot of tea, especially for iced tea, and this pot works very well in the microwave. The large infuser for the loose tea leaves is MUCH better than smaller drop-in leaf holders. (Note: do NOT put the metal infuser in the microwave, heat the water without it.) I have another glass teapot, but it doesn't hold as much water and a long spout makes it awkward in the microwave. The only quibble is that the plastic lid is not recommended for the microwave, but that's a minor issue.

I can see the amount of tea still in the pot; since I’m the only one drinking the tea. The con of the pot: the strainer does not have a handle you can lift it out of the pot with. But I have others that do fit in this pot’s rim.

Makes enough tea to take me through the day, as I can reheat a cupful in microwave when I want. Took off one star because the wonderfully deep strainer requires a little extra effort to get all the wet leaves out, while cleaning it. Other reviewers find strainers w/ handles, but I don't need to use my handle-ed strainer, which is not as deep. Easy to remove strainer that comes with this tea pot. I keep in on a flat, quilted pot holder to prevent putting it on a cold or wet surface when pot is hot. Glad I went for it.

I was gifted a ceramic teapot with stainless steel lid. It was hard to clean with narrow opening and lid was too hot to touch when pouring. This pot was exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to clean with a plastic lid that twists open. Big enough to drink more than just two people. I love it!

Love this tea pot! Use it almost every night. Heats up so fast and looks so appealing on the stove. Works great on the stove! Definetly recommend to remove the lid while boiling water to prevent melting the lid. So happy I bought this!

I’m an avid tea drinker and love loose tea so I can see the magic of the tea leaf dance in the heated water. This is the perfect teapot for me. The glass is heat resistant and some days I just heat it in the microwave. Fantastic!! Easy to clean too. Love it 💕

Used it several times. This time I was boiling water and the glass cracked and water went all over the stove. Unfortunately it’s pass the window and I can’t get a refund.
