Why does it say wafers? is it cacao butter for making chocolate?

it's a strange term but it's actually buttons - like chocolate buttons. Yes it's cocoa butter for making chocolate and it's really delicious.

Should this smell of vinegar? It definitely had a tang in the end product too. Although it is in date, has it gone off and should I return it?

I wouldn't say it smells of vinegar but it is a strange smell not particularly pleasant. The taste is similar. I use it mixed with a little Lindt 90% chocolate with some liquid sweetener and a few drops of extract. Orange Vanilla and coffee all work well

Is this butter unrefined?

It did not look unrefined to me at all. I was shocked when I realised they were actually button shaped and they seemed processed to me. Will not buy again.

Is this product 100% gluten free?

According to the manufacturers description, yes this product is gluten free

Good product

This is delicious and we get through a lot of it when we make chocolate. Shame it's got so expensive of late, but that's the world market. It's not much cheaper elsewhere for this quality.

Making vegan chocolate couldn't be easier

I'd never made chocolate before, but I was fed up with paying vegan chocolate prices. It couldn't be any easier using these buttons. They melt beautifully and make the processs absolute child's play. I blanched at the cost originally, but really 1kg goes an awfully long way. I'm definitely winning on cost, without sacrificing quality. I'll certainly buy again.

Flavour is good👍🏼

Flavour is great, the packaging was sturdy, but not enough to keep it from tearing a little along the sides during transit. I have no idea what “sheerness” in this case is referring to.

Keto friendly

Makes lovely white chocolate keto mousse and also melt a few buttons in the microwave and add to your regular body moisturiser and it does amazing things to your skin !! Thank me later
