Do not regret buying this pair of boots. They’re comfortable and don’t have a break in period. I’ve had them for 4 months now and I’ve been in the field for 1 of those months. No damage or excessive wear from being in the field.

I was worried about buying a boot I had never tried on, I ordered the 9.5W and they are true to size for me. Break in wasn't bad, they are comfortable and light. Update almost a year later. They are starting to get a hole worn in them on the inside of the left toe box area. I will follow up with what Amazon and Garmont says. Unfortunately I was outside of the warranty window of 1 year. However I still wear them when I am not in uniform and need boots. They held up great on a 9 mile hike around glacier national park in Montana.

Fit as expected. It has been a durable and comfortable pair of boots. Price is great compared to local businesses. I give three stars because the laces and eyelets are a big miss for me. The laces are too fat and the eyelets with the ball bearing are superfluous. It causes the boot to be difficult to get on and off. I replaced with thin laces and skipped the extra eyelets and they are now much easier to don and doff. However, I now have these big eyelets sticking out the side of the boots. Not a deal-breaker but it’s annoying. The boots do the job and look great.

Speed lace, super grip traction, comfy foot bed, Will be buying another pair just for backup in case they quit making them.
