This is 15 times more effective then regular icy-hot. I mostly combine with Lidocaine 5% and Voltarin,together. I use 5 mil black disposable gloves only. NOTE when combinding,they blend in faster. ALSO NOTE > you can buy lidocaine 5% on amazon without a Drs. Script. So if you have pain offten,these (3) together will make life easier. 6-27-25 j. Jackson I give +14 stars.

Works great on back, neck and shoulders. I suffer from chronic back pain and take lots of painkillers, but the Medication only helps with pain, not soreness or aches. This cream was really helpfully relieving the aches. I mostly use its on back and neck twice a night. Once around 7pm then again around 1am before I fall asleep. I found that it also works well on knees and ankles. Oh, and be careful when using, make sure you wash your hands. It hurts like a Mofo if you get it in your eyes or your 'danger zone'. Also be careful if you wear clothing over the area you you allow the cream. After taking a shower I was getting dressed and I put my shirt on the toilet lid not realizing that the shirt still had some icy hot residue . So as you could imagine my undercarriage was on fire. I ended up having to jump back in the shower. Anyways. Yes, I recommend this product. It's totally worth the price. I liked it better that the gel version.

i love how it feels on achy back or sore muscles. i will say, i've since found a MUCH better price for this on an online drugstore site. this is one of only a few times i've found a better price than amazon for a product.

At 63 my knees are paying for all those years of running in my 20s and 30s. I tried capsaisin but hot water from a shower or bath would just set my skin on fire. The Icy Hot in the tube contains menthol and camphor which act to block pain impulses from reaching the brain. The two tubes I ordered from Amazon didn't last long but I found a 4-pack of 3.5oz jars at a great price so I ordered one. At first I was disappointed to learn that even though it was Icy Hot, it contained menthol and methyl salicylate (wintergreen liniment) but this one works even better than the camphor/menthol formulation, at least on me. At my age what do I care if I go around smelling like a Wintergreen LifeSaver?!

I used Icy Hot on an itchy rash, and it works really well for that. It creates a hot/cold sensation that blocks other sensations. It's stronger than the diphenhydramine HCl-based itch relief ointment I tried. The expiration date on my tube was 03/23.
