Stone Chandan Stick (Brown)

What I was looking for a stone to grind sandalwood. I really didn't care about chandan stick that came along. True to my suspicion, it isn't sandalwood. Some kind of scented stick, it is. Coming to the stone, it is of good quality and I'm able to ground sandalwood easily. Although you might feel it is too soft to obtain good results, it does decent enough job. The packaging was good with proper bubble wrap, given the fragility of stone. Coming to the size of stone, with usage I've come to realise that it is too small (6 inch). A normal hand's single swipe on the stone would be around 10 inches. So, you need to take care to avoid spillovers. There are other stones on Amazon that has skirting and are much bigger, and would make a good option. And cost less. All said and done, it doesn't delight you. Just manages to meet your need.

I brought it when my 6 years old daughter kept asking me that she wanted to experience the sandal wood smell. I did rub this piece of wood on their stone and it smelled like a mud. I mean its just the smell of the stone and not sandal. My daughter was asking me what's special in this and she said its smelling like amazon parcel cover. i totally ruined her imagination. NOW I LEARNT A LEASON THAT WE HAVE TO BUY SANDAL ALWAYS FROM GOVT CERTIFIED SHOPS. What we pay is only for stone. For the above review the amazon AI bot is showing green tick for scent . I am totally shocked now.

Stone is good. Very big and sturdy. However, the chandan stick does not seem real. Real chandan stick gets into paste form easily. However, it takes a lot of effort and the paste quantity is very less. Morever, the stick is very big but very light. Chandan is usually heavy

It has a mild smell which made me question its quality at first, but after several use it started giving excellent results for my stubborn acne issues. Although effective but stick size can be improved. Current one is too small to handle. Many thanks.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Reasonable price Scent: No scent in the stick . Size: size of pata is ok and have no complaints . Authenticity: Stick not Chandan at all . No scent of Chandan

The product is good. The dangle wood appears genuine with good smell. The only drawback is that the product is not even at the base. This results in it shaking a lot when using.
