It says not for internal use. Gives some relief. Try Alleviate instead,....it is the best I have found but twice the price,...but when you are in pain it is worth it.

This is the best hemorrhoidal ointment on the market. I've tried them all. After my hemorrhoidectomy I used this and even my doctor was impressed with the results I got. My son has hemorrhoids and he uses this and relief for hemorrhoids is almost instant. Two of my friends are flight attendants and they always have this in their travel bag. For Hemorrhoids it the BEST.

A great product for all kinds of burns, stings, scrapes and other pain. Lately this is the only ointment around that I can find with 10% Lidocaine. Most drugstores don't carry it their substitutes also contain Aloe Vera or Cortizone. This particular seller has a good price and ships in just a couple of days.
