Perfect Fit
I've always had a hard time finding weld gloves that would fit my small hands. Not only did the gloves actually fit well; but they weren't bulky either, which allowed for better dexterity with the rod. I've used them for both ferrous and non-ferrous. They are thinner than most gloves, so I don't recomend picking up or moving whatever it is that you just finished welding unless you can touch it with your hands. I've had mine for five weeks and haven't gotten a hole in them yet, but I also havent picked up a fresh weld. If you're looking for gloves that fit to the hand well without being bulky, these are perfect.

Pretty good Tig gloves.
Nice Tig gloves, function as advertised. Very thin so you have good control. Mine had some stiching issues where they are sewed to the cuff, thus the 4 stars. They seem to be holding up ok but this minor defect/flaw get's the one star off.

too thin
Way too thin. XL in these are bigger than a lot of other gloves I'd purchased. The glove is very soft, has a great feel, but the heat cuts rights through them. barely any use for contact protection only. Second I sweat, or these got wet, they started coming apart at the seams. Not happy at all, will be seeking to return the remaining 10 i have in inventory. A point micrometer measures thickness at 0.252mm, NOT 0.600mm like listing

great for being able to feel what you are doing
Very thin, great for being able to feel what you are doing. They are not durable for anything other than welding. Dont grind metal with these or you'll cut your hand on the wheel,

I love these gloves
I love these gloves. They are not bulky and I even forget I'm wearing them. My hands are protected and they are long enough that I can tuck my shirt sleeves under the cuff. I certainly would not want to pick up really hot metal, but I love the fact that I have more control over what I am doing. Everyone in my welding class wants a pair!

Also Good for Followspot Operators
I'm using these to protect my hands/wrists friends from a followspot in a theater. They work well so far, as there's enough dexterity (very lightweight leather in the fingers) while the gauntlet is heavy enough to provide protection. The gauntlet fits closely enough that I haven't been unexpectedly interacting with control levers, unlike when I tried using a welding glove for the same purpose.
