Wow
This stuff really works. I live in a bungalow and I had a wasps nest right outside my lounge window, little buggers kept flying into the lounge so I had to close the window. At that point, I didn't know I had a nest, I just got a little suspicious as to why so many wasps were in my lounge. Anyway, right under the eves there was a little gap leading to my loft and they were coming in and out, but at that stage, they were all pretty small so the nest must be at an early stage. I couldn't reach it without a ladder but I wanted them gone, so I looked through Amazon's huge range and settled on this product along with the powder. It arrived the next day so just before dusk I went out and without the need for a ladder I gave the hole a quick blast. It was very simple to do and seemed to cover the wasp hole nicely. A few came out but were covered in the foam and couldn't fly, I left them to bed down for the night. I had a look the next morning and they were still in and out of the nest, so I got the foam and gave the hole another quick blast of the foam, which covered the wasp hole nicely once again. A fair few wasps came out of the hole again but couldn't fly due to being covered in foam, I left them to settle in for the day. At dusk, I got the ladder and squirted the powder into the wasp hole, and got away from the nest pretty darn quick. Quite a few wasps trying to fly back into the wasp nest were stuck as the hole was blocked with the powder and they were getting covered in the powder, I left them to settle in for the night. The next day there were still wasps flying in and out but not as many as the day before, I got up the ladder and gave the wasp hole another squirt of the powder blocking the hole. Once again quite a few wasps were trying to get back into the wasp hole but it was blocked with the powder, I left them to settle in for the day. The next day they had managed to dig the wasp hole out but there were no wasps coming out. I kept an eye on the nest and still to this day there are no wasps anymore. I don't know if it was the foam or the powder but the nest is dead and gone so as far as I am concerned it's worth the money. I know the nest is probably in my loft and the wasp hole I am poisoning is only the entrance, the wasps do the rest by carrying the poison back to the nest, infecting more wasps and eventually killing the queen.

Don’t waste your money
Why do I have to give this 1 star when it clearly should be 0 stars. Absolutely useless product. Sprayed the nest on first day. Next morning still lots of activity. Sprayed nest again that evening. Same again the next morning. No sign that the wasps had been effected in anyway. Again, sprayed for the third evening. And again the next day it had no effect on them. Left it for a few days thinking it might take a few days to work, but no. A week after first application the nest still very active. Had to get a man in to kill the nest. So save your money and don’t buy this product.

Helpful for an underground wasp nest, but not perfect
UPDATE: I was checking daily for about a week, and the nest appeared to be empty after using the spray and a powder (see notes below). However I went to mow the lawn today, and ran over the hole where the ground nest was located, and found that it was fully occupied once again. I was stung for my troubles. My fault, as the product instructions do indicate that more than one treatment may be necessary, but I was lured into a false sense of safety because there had been no sign of activity for many days. Just a warning to others not to take it for granted that an apparently abandoned nest actually has been abandoned.----------------------This product was designed for a conventional exterior wasp nest, not an underground one. I had no idea that some wasps tunnel underground and enter the subterranean nest via a hole at ground level, but this is the situation I had at the end of my garden, against a stone kerb. I wasn't much bothered by it, because the wasps ignored me whilst weeding and even mowing, but I was told that they become a nuisance in late summer when wasps feed on fruit, become "drunk" and very aggressive, and queens begin to leave the nest to find new homes (setting up nests nearby in the following season, thereby raising the number of wasps in the immediate area). I have an early apple tree next to the house, and for the first time the wasps entered the house in ridiculous numbers. In the garden, they were indeed very aggressive, meaning that the apple tree was almost unapproachable. I didn't want to find myself with a bigger problem next year, so decided to eliminate the nest.I was aware when I bought it that this was not designed for underground nests, but decided to give it a whirl. This is a foam, with a lever that promises that if you give a canister a good shake you should get up to 4m range. It was no better than 2m maximum.I used the one canister five times to fill and cover the hole, over two days. The foam vanishes within a couple of hours but each time it reduced the number of wasps. When the canister was empty, there were still a small number of wasps entering and leaving, so I resorted to a powder by the same company. This eventually sorted the problem, and I filled the hole with sand. At the time of writing, four days after both treatments, the wasps appear to have given up on the nest - but see UPDATE at the top of this review.

Great for out of reach places
We had a hornets nest in our eaves which couldnt be accessed from inside and was over a conservatory so very difficult to access. This worked perfectly. With a small ladder to get enough height the jet shoots 4 meters without an issue. I did make sure to shake it for 40 seconds before use.I also liked that i was not attacked by the hornets after as i was far enough away i could get off the ladder and walk indoors. It foams up to stop access.I did have to do about 3 or 4 applications, i think because i couldnt access the nest, only the access hole, but was easy to use and i did it just after sun set when they are least active and likely to be in or near the nest.
