Missing parts - but rapidly sorted out by Neewer customer service
Mine had been opened and was missing the two grip heads. All I got was a metal rod for nearly £40 which is ridiculous. It is a shame because I have some Neewer C stands and they are pretty decent for the money.Update 1: I contacted Neewer who have offered to send me the grip heads. I'll update my review and stars, if/when I receive them. Neewer customer service seem genuinely helpful, which makes a nice change!Update 2: This item now gets 5 stars. Neewer arranged for Amazon to deliver a couple of boxed up grip heads. So that's the problem fixed and perfect customer service. As expected the heads are solid metal and well manufactured. In an ideal world nothing would go wrong with orders. However I judge a company on what they do when there is a problem. In this case an email to customer services and a few photos got the problem solved very rapidly. It makes me much more confident in Neewer as a company since they really wanted to make things right. I'm very impressed by them.

Great Value For money
I was pleasantly surprised that the slots on the gobo heads were ripped for extra gripage.Overall all the construction seems rigid with a hefty weight & nice feel...The knobs are spring-loaded, which seems a little strange.

Pretty good…
You get what you pay for I suppose. The construction and weight feel good but if you put a flash head well within it’s weight capabilities you need to be an iron man to get it to tighten so it doesn’t swivel. For instance an Elinchrom ELB500 head ( tiny ) with a large Elinchrom brolly soft box is almost impossible to wrangle into position without it spinning downwards. I would suggest using small light modifiers only.

Good value and solid build
A good solid piece of kit that I now use all the time. It is weighty, well balanced and easy to set up.You will need a C stand or heavy duty tripod to support it safely. though. Light tripods will be too fexible.

As good as the expensive stuff
I've tried more expensive units and these stand up really well. Recommended at any price.
