I love this mineral sunscreen!!
I researched for awhile to find the right mineral sunscreen and I finally purchased this one. I bought both a cream and spray version and I absolutely LOVE both!!! I'm so pleased with how sheer this applies if you do it right. It doesn't have a strong smell at all either and doesn't feel super slimy like chemical sunscreens. I took some advice from the brand and made sure my skin was moisturized before applying. (By this I just mean that I moisturize anyway after every shower, and this was enough. They recommend you don't apply to super dry skin, as I'm sure it wouldn't rub in as nicely.) I also found that applying in small amounts and sections at a time helped to ensure it all rubbed in sheer. I think if you apply a giant blob you'll be in trouble, but taking your time and applying in small amounts worked perfectly! I saw that some complaints said it was way too thick and you had to rub in the spray version, but I found spraying on small sections and rubbing it in right away to work just fine. I have never just sprayed on any chemical sunscreens and not rubbed it in after, so I'm not sure what people mean when they complain about that that.. I still always found the need to rub in and apply spray sunscreen the same way as a cream version. It definitely sits on the skin and doesn't absorb like chemical sunscreens, but that's the point! I don't mind the feeling at all, and prefer that to the slimy feeling of chemical sunscreens. I really think that taking the extra few minutes to apply it correctly is well worth the benefits! I plan on recommending this to all of my family and friends!

Safe, effective and good consistency
I have tried many lotions and spend many hours every year checking the ewg ratings and reading reviews for a safe and effective sunblock. I am extremely happy with the garden goddess line. First of all not only is it a zinc oxide based sunblock which is safer, each of the individual ingredients are rated as a 1 for the safest possible. This sunblock sits on the surface of the skin instead of seaping down into the akin and forms a protective layer. When you first put it on it is white which I find makes it easier to see where you missed a spot. The white disappears after a little bit but you can still feel the location. I apply this once a day on my boys and entire family with heavy swimming and activity in the sun and we have never burned. Many of the zinc based lotions are usually very greasy and the consistency of this one is very nice. The lotion is a little smoother to apply, but I have started using the spray because it’s faster. FYI you will need to do a quick rub after spraying to even put the lotion, but I don’t mind because it’s still pretty fast, extremely effective and safe.

No harsh chemicals and non-nano particles and it convenient spray
I love the ingredients of this sunscreen. the harsh chemical-free, non nano particles in a convenient spray is what sold me on this product. It is not completely invisible when dried, and if your skin is dry it will be very noticeable. My way around looking like a 1960s lifeguard is 2 splash my face with water a few minutes before putting the sunscreen on. If you use moisturizers, or have moist skin this may not be a problem, but it definitely is for me. What I have ended up doing now is using the travel stick sunscreen on my face and the spray on the rest of my body. A perfect combination!

Sprayed like spackling paste
If product sprayed like one of the product pictures it would have been fine however..... it was completely unusable. I sprayed a little on and it came out so heavy and thick. It reminded us of water being sprayed out of a refrigerator. We checked to see if there was an issue with the spray nozzle and we couldnt find anything wrong. It got over any nearby belongings and it was extremely difficult to get our of the bathing suits and towels.

Ethics fantastic, application not good.
Not what I was looking looking at all.. Leaves you looking like Edward scissorhands since it is not sheer and does not rub in fully or blend into skin. In order to make it work I mix it with lotion about 1 part sunscreen to 3 parts lotion if that makes sense, however, I imagine the effectiveness of the product is now lessened. Props to the company for having clean, environmentally friendly, vegan, cruelty free products. I plan on giving them another try with a different product solely for that reason! It takes trial and error to get doing the right thing and making quality go hand and hand. This product is on the error list for sure, but not giving up on this company just yet!

Zero scent, good coverage
I bought this for a trip to Mexico, knew I would be snorkeling. It actually worked great, as long as I remembered to reapply every few hours.Pros: NO scent, which was important to me because of allergies. Spray was important and it makes application much easier.Cons: Higher SPF would have been better, but it had what I needed. You do need to rub it into your skin, pretty minor con.The only time I burned using this was when I got so excited about getting into the water to snorkel, that I forgot to have my partner do my back, lol. Burned me to a crisp, but all the other areas I coated myself weren’t burned. I would buy this again in a flash.

Did not like at all
This is my first time trying the product and I was very disappointed. I followed the instructions and believed it was going to be sheer... not at all. Sprays on thick and white, when you rub it in it just smears then eventually fades from white cast to purple cast. I didn’t mind when I sprayed it on but trying to get it off was a hassle. I had to vigorously scrub and even then I had a tough time. No matter how much I scrubbed or how much soap I used I couldn’t get it off of my legs for 2 days. Could not wear shorts because I had splotchy white/purple spray marks all over.

GARBAGE!!
The absolute worst! I bought two bottles, the first one stopped spraying when there is clearly over 50% of the bottle left.. so I opened the second bottle and from the get go it won’t spray at all!! It’s full but there is no pressure in it, nothing comes out. Huge waste of money, don’t give this company money! I understand that maybe I got a lemon bottle but two out of two are garbage! I should have never strayed from gas station sunscreen!
