Oval Talking Alarm Clock Keychain - White

I purchased this for my blind grandmother years ago, she carries this thing with her wherever she goes. It's absolutely perfect for her needs. I laugh every time I hear the voice for this lil thing. Works great, if my grandma can use it, you can too. Great battery life, perfect size, very durable.

Bought this for my 103-year-old mother who has vision and hearing difficulties. She loves this, loud enough that she can hear it when she isn't wearing her hearing aids. I set an alarm for the evening when she needs a reminder to take her medications. She automatically takes her morning meds when she wakes so she didn't need an alarm for that. She loves that she can just press a button and hear the time.

My son in blind and autistic. He loves knowing the time. He pushes the button over and over. The voice isn’t extra loud so it really doesn’t annoy those of us around him. Battery lasted almost 2 months with his constant pushing. So I think it’s great. Would recommend.Oh one thing he does not like. His old talking keychain told him the date. This one is strictly time only. But the time can be changed from 12 to 24hr formate. And likes switching between the two.

I purchased this as a gift for my 77 year old father who had recently lost his sight. It has just one button to push to announce the time and he wears it on his belt loop. Not as complicated as a watch that has more than one button and he was inadvertently setting the alarm and changing the time when all he needed was to know what time it was.2/28/2014The battery finally died. I turned it over to change the battery......infinitely small screws. So for me, I just ordered another one. It has worked perfectly during this time so easy to use. The batteries lasted over a year and a half with daily use. I still think it's a great little device

I'm a light sleeper. When I wake up at night, and have to open my eyes to see what time it is, it' s harder to get back to sleep after breaking the eyes' sleeping mode and adjusting them to light. I wished I could just HEAR the time instead. So I thought I'd search the internet, and found this. Now I hang it on my bedpost, and it's wonderful to just listen to what time it is! I wish I had found out about this item earlier. This little clock works great, the voice is clear and just the right volume. It says "The time is _:__ am (or pm)". It has alarm too, which should come in handy, but I use my other louder alarm clock to make sure I don't miss it in the morning. This one was a small price to solve a big problem! Just a caution- it could wake up your bed partner when used for this purpose.

It’s a little hard to set up. After set up it’s great for my patient who is blind. It could be louder . Other than that it’s great and easy to activate. Purchased separate neck lanyard to wear around neck

I thought I might be bumping the buttons at random, since I keep it in my upper coat pocket while I work, so I actually cut the mode button off flush with the casing using a hobby knife. This should make it just about impossible to accidentally change the settings without using a tool but it still switches itself from 24 back to 12 hour and I bought it for easy access to military time for use in my lab. Very inconvenient for my purposes, but I altered it so it's not like I can return it. It also appears to have gained 10 minutes over a 2 week period of use. Not very good all 'round. If it didn't have a mind of it's own I would like it well enough.
