Now I'm no electronic expert only purchased these to make "Y" cables for my guitar pedal power supply. They work perfect for what i needed simple to solder together. I zip tied the housing closed since it only stays closed with a little rubber band which seems fine, but just to be safe that's what I did

Semi easy assembly IF YOU KNOW HOW TO SOLDER. Solid quality. Ive used for effect pedals power supply along with upgrading all my straight end barrel connectors on any cable I had to these . They’ve been going strong for 6months now. Double check polarity before soldering !!

Definitely not “high quality”. The clamshell style plastic casing doesn’t close with a tight seal, but if you have good solder joints or add some heat shrink I don’t think you need to worry. I’m using these for my pedalboard, and as someone said they are just barely slightly larger than the power cables that are usually included with pedal power supply’s, however it has not caused any issue for me, everything still fits easily. Also, they feel a bit tight when unplugging, but this can be a good thing as I don’t need to worry about them coming unplugged accidentally at any time. I’d probably buy high quality next time to match the quality of stock power cables, but I’m still happy with these!

If you're wanting to make custom power cables for your guitar pedals, look elsewhere. These are too short to stay connected to most 2.1mm power jacks. If you like Boss pedals, you're pretty much out of luck, these won't work.
