Last one with buckles
All harnesses relieve much of the weight from your neck. But there are differences in the way they are executed. I replaced a pair of binoculars that were stolen, so I needed a new harness. I ordered the Nikon version, thinking it was the same version I already owned. But no, the current version comes with little plastic snaps that attach to your bins with small rings - or worse yet, small plastic tie-backs. Even though the photo shows the old version - that connects to your bins with nylon webbing. What I'm getting at is this. If you want a secure connection between harness and bins - with nylon webbing; and you want the quick release buckles - not just plastic snaps connected to a small ring; this is all that's currently available. All the others seem to be similar to the Nikon version I ordered and returned. By the way, the buckles adjust up and down on the harness. The photo shows a too high connection for me - one that places too much weight on your neck - that kinda defeats the purpose of a harness. And the main reason I passed on these the first time around. The only negative vs the other versions - the attachment is a little longer - so you get more movement of the bins (or camera).

I've pushed and pulled ad infinitum
I stand 5' 7" 165 lb and I am trying to use this on a Canon SX40 HS camera. My intention was to hang the camera justbelow my sternum, the lens straight forward. I'm having trouble getting all adjustments to hang the thing short enough,to suspend about 8 inches below my chin so I need only glance down at the hooded view screen. I'll keep trying butmaybe should have just gotten a good shoulder strap. Sadly, I wouldn't be able to record hands-free while walking, biking, etc. with the shoulder strap. ~JD

Works great
We bought two harnesses prior to our African photo safari. My wife used this one and loved it. Mine was heavier duty much too bulky. This unit is well made and adjustable to fit most anyone. It made carrying her binoculars a breeze so she could focus on the camera. The binoculars were always easy to access.

Made for man shoulders
No matter how I adjust the the straps on this harness i can not get them to stay up on my shoulders, Even when I wear more layers they fall down. Either the straps are made for men with big shoulders or they just fit weird and are not comfortable. Bummer because i was looking to replace my old stretched out harness.

Good harness
This harness appears to be well-constructed and is moderately comfortable to wear. I would have liked to know that it was made in China - this is not a European product.

These things make a world of difference running around in the woods. Truly amazing. No more flopping binoculars from my neck.
