Aftercut 20400460 Weed and Moss Killer, Natural, 100 sq m

I’ve used this product twice every 6/7 weeks. And I cannot believe the transformation it gave my garden! If your struggling with your grass, I would recommend you buying this and treating your grass every 6 weeks!

Used this a month ago and the results were solid. It tackled most of the moss and quite a bit of the weed coverage without completely destroying the grass. Pros: ✅ Kills Moss Quickly Moss turned black within days and was easy to rake out — very effective. ✅ Improves Grass Colour The lawn actually looked greener a week or so after applying it, which was a nice bonus. ✅ Easy to Apply Spreads easily with a basic spreader, and doesn’t clump up like some granular treatments. Cons: ❌ Doesn’t Hit All Weeds It struggled a bit with some stubborn weeds like dandelions and clover. You’ll probably still need to spot-treat. ❌ Needs Dry Weather You’ve got to keep an eye on the forecast — rain soon after applying will mess up the results. Not a miracle fix, but a good product if you manage expectations and pair it with a bit of follow-up care. Great as part of a regular lawn routine.

Having watched various videos on Grass obsessed enthusiasts I definitely didn’t have the time to go full time on my lawn repair. The lawn was three years neglected only receiving weekly cuts and water when prelonged hot spells (not often in UK). My grass consisted of weeds, clover, moss, patchy and looked okish from a far but up close not great. The reviews for this product were very good , simply spread once cut then water if no rain within 48hrs. So after 4 weeks and two applications I must say it does look greener, thicker and the moss gone! All good however large weeds and clovers remain so not great. The product is very easy to use and would definitely recommend if your lawns in a better existing condition than mine. Not sure if I would buy again to be honest, I suppose there’s no quick lawn fix!

I moved into a new property and the lawn was riddled with Dandelions. I used this weed killer, didn’t measure it out, but just chucked freely on grass. Not saying that method is for all, but I was willing to scorch all this grass and start afresh. It did scorch some bits, however, the second photo with no dandelions is about 3 weeks later. Together with the weed killer, I used Miracle grow lawn feed and Smart lawn grass. I wanted to choke out the weeds. I still have the odd dandelion peeking its head up every other day, but keep uprooting them as I see them now. As long as the flower seeds doesn’t keep parachuting onto the lawn, I am happy. I would say use it sparingly, but use it together with miracle grown lawn feed and smart seeds. I can see new grass sprouting up where there were bold patches. The third photo was today after a fresh cut.

The product itself is good, my customer had a lawn with a large patch of plantain. One application of this has taken care of it. Kills the weeds, turns them black and shrivels them but it does take a good 4 weeks to work. Down side is the spreader applicator is not great and it’s easy to miss patches as the flow is not constant. In short it kills the weeds it hits but you may have to spend a bit of time digging out the ones it’s missed - or applying a second treatment.
