I watched a video of a builder walking down an aisle of vanities in a big-box, pointing out the things to look for like manufactured particle board that can warp and even rot from water, the plastic laminates that can streak and get scummy over time, the way they are put together. Many that are mass produced have these plastic brackets with a big staple holding them together inside. So finding this vanity base in dramatic charcoal black, at this great price, was major. Not only is it real solid wood, it is heavy and substantial, and nothing I found elsewhere compares. The soft close hinges, the smooth drawer sliders, the surface finishing is furniture quality. I selected a porcelain one piece sink-counter in white for the top from American Standard and a modern one piece brushed brass faucet. Black stone and brass knobs for the drawers and handle for the door that I also found on amazon finished the look. The contractor was so impressed with the quality that he made me pull up this page and the manufacturer to see the multiple sizes and finishes so he can get them for his own home! It was some effort putting it together but he did it quickly and we were both wowed by how amazing it looks. The surface has a hard composite laminate to be water resistant so it is not like a painted raw wood, it is like a bedroom dresser and simply perfect. The price, together with the sink top, was still far below what I was seeing for many of the combo vanities, in most cases hundreds of dollars less and the quality doesn't even compare. The packaging was serious, this comes in a heavy duty shipping box, a protective foam sheet between each panel of wood to ensure it doesn't slide around or scratch the next piece. The hardware comes in separate smaller cardboard boxes within the larger box so no hunting around for loose pieces. It took about ten days to arrive even in the middle of a pandemic. It looks like I had it custom made because you just cannot find this quality in the usual home improvement big boxes. So I cannot recommend this enough, it is a winner!

I love the vanity. It did have a couple of chips on it, but luckily they don’t show. My gripe is with the instructions. They don’t come with it, you have to download them from the company website. They were poorly written and the pictures were not clear at all. If someone doesn’t have internet access they out of luck with the instructions.

I really love this cabinet, my son put it together, and from what he said, it wasn’t that difficult. I’ve seen others that were way more expensive. But this one looks great and I love the self closing drawers. I absolutely recommend this cabinet!

Be careful it is not 30” at the base!!We had to cut the base a bit to make it fit the spot ... the base is 2” wider then the actual vanity.

Not at all what I expected. Comes in a box, you assemble. Mine cracked in so many places, I threw it out. Not going to go thru the return shipping process. An expensive lesson learned. Poor quality.

This vanity took about an hour (maybe more) to put together but I am so happy with this purchase. The vanity was packaged perfectly. The vanity is sturdy. Only complaint is that the front horizontal panel is not actually wood. It seems to be plastic. I only notice by tapping on it. It was just installed as a part of my bathroom remodel. I was concerned that it was more of a grey/brown than black but once installed in the small bathroom it is not as noticeable. I swapped the knobs with gold knobs.
