Amazon Essentials Men's Pants, Chinos, Straight-Fit Jogger

After tearing the crotch in my Iron Co. khaki joggers, I went looking for a replacement. Unfortunately, the company I mentioned are now closed for good so I decided to take a chance on these. Let me tell you, they're worth every penny. Not only is the fabric incredibly soft, it's also very thick and feels durable. The fit is similar to wrangler jeans which is nice for people with larger legs and the elastic cuffs aren't constricting and provide a nice looking taper which is good for showing off shoes or in my case, boots. I also appreciate the fact that not only is there a drawstring closure on these, but also there are belt loops which help if you want to dress them up a little bit.Don't be fooled by the stock image used, they don't actually look like pants your grandfather's grandfather would wear with suspenders and a paperboy hat. They're a nice blend of a vintage-chino and a modern jogger with quality construction and materials. Very impressed and even more-so with the price point. The only negative I would say is that the buttons on the back pockets definitely make the design look dated and there were a few loose threads here and there but otherwise, they're awesome.9.6/10

Lets get the fit issue out of the way. I don't know why online retailers of clothing don't spend the time to give shoppers the size details on their product so we can make the correct choice the first time but here are the facts on the XL size that I purchased after one wash. The waist goes from relaxed to stretched from 38" to 42" on the waist and from 6" to 9" on the cuff. They are 12" wide (24" around) at the thigh and 9" wide at the calf. These are not "slim fit" pants - thank goodness. The inseam is 29". and the zipper ends 8" from the top of the waist band. This is my only issue with the pant. My dress pants have the zipper ending 11" from the waist band and that is where it should be for a pant this size because that is where the car wants to leave the garage - sort of speak. I am a "stout" 5'9", at 195 lbs, and wear a size 38 30 dress pant so I guessed on the XL size and these pants fit me very well for lounging around - no jogging for me, just weights.I was a little wary of pants with an ankle fit but after wearing them while working around the house and even running errands around town I find them to be very comfortable and better looking than the sweat pants I would usually wear - much to the little ladies approval. The material is soft and a good medium weight. The pockets are good sized. Fronts hold a large cell phone easily but the back button pocket won't button with a large phone in it. They seem to be well made but only time will tell. These will be my new favorite knock around pants, buying two more pair, and I would recommend to anyone to buy them if the size fits.P.S. Love these as they fit right, look good and last long

I've been looking for a versatile pant that is comfy enough for around the house but also looks good enough to wear out. I've long been wearing some Amazon branded "walking shorts" in the summer for this purpose both around the house and out casually so I thought I'd give these a try. Turns out they're a very similar material, which is great because it's comfortable and quite durable in my experience, my shorts have lasted me years and while I did have to throw a pair away for getting a hole recently that was only have multiple years of very heavy use.These pants are even better though. I love the button close pockets, button and zip closure with belt loops but also a drawstring. This just makes them incredibly versatile. Draw string for around the house, throw in a nice belt if you need to dress them up a bit maybe.Tried just one pair at first to get a feel for the sizing and quality but after just one wear I ordered 3 more pair in various colors so now I'm set and these are going to be a staple for fall/winter/spring

The fit on these has a bit of a baggy crotch, and that with the elastic on the bottom of the leg openings, make these pants more suitable for very casual wear. But for that purpose they work really well, like a step up from wearing sweatpants. I’m 6’2” with a 34” waist and ordered a large. And it fits very well, with a small break between the cuff and my ankle.

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical.I have purchased joggers like this from Amazon, but not Amazon branded. These were terrible, they are poorly made and the size is just not correct.Now, the Amazon branded joggers I got were finally correct in fit, stretchy and very comfortable. I loved them enough to go get 3 more. I like the fabric, the fit and the variety of colors they have.But the best thing is that they are affordable.Do yourself a favor and don't waste money looking for pants like this somewhere else.

I love these. I bought one pair of these and I liked them so much I think I now have a pair in every color. Great value, extremely comfortable, and they are good for just about any occasion.

(this was the replacement order for the medium that I returned)I usually wear waist size 32 pant, ordered these in size small and medium, kept the small. Material is very comfortable, has a bit of stretch, and the length was perfect, with a bit of a break at the ankle. (I am less tall, with a 28" inseam). These are a chino khaki type cotton material, so perhaps not as formal as the current rage of microfibre type golf pants, but they meet all the criteria to wear on the course (pockets, belt loops, draw string is on the inside), so these will be my go-to for golf next year. After a very easy Amazon return, I ordered 2 more pairs size small, different colors.

These trousers are absolutely amazing for anyone who works in physiotherapy or any other career where you need smart navy trousers that have lots of mobility.They immediately feel great to wear. 4 good pockets for storing items. The trousers look quite smart, but have a lot of flexibility. If you need to squat down or lunge, these trousers can do it with no resistance. They are very breathable and keep your legs cool throughout the day.Wearing them feels like you are wearing joggers, but they look smart enough to be appropriate for healthcare. I genuinely couldn't be more pleased with my purchase (I bought 2 but will probably buy another).The sizing is very accurate too.I don't know if I would recommend these for a formal event like a wedding or an office job as they are cuffed at the bottom, but for jobs where you need to look formal but also require a good amount of mobility, these trousers are perfect!10/10
