LOMVUM Digital Multimeter Tester, TRMS 6000 Counts Auto-Ranging Volt Meter; Measures Voltage Tester, Current, Resistance, Continuity, Frequency

OK - so I received this today and have not tested every function. But from what I have seen so far, it is a brilliant test meter for the money. I would not want to spend the money that say a Fluke meter costs, but as far as I can see this looks to be excellent, with almost as many functions for a fraction of the price.I have a couple of the cheap £5 meters (bought a second because I could not find the original one, which explains why I have duplicates of most tools) and I needed a 4 digit display so purchased this.It is in another world compared to the very cheap £5 meters, OK it costs £24 but it is so much better.A couple of things that stand out for me.20A current reading as opposed to 10AMuch bigger/solid and appears well builtAuto-Off, I reckon I'll save a few quid on batteries aloneHas NCV, torch and temperatureHas a back light which my other one didn't and in the dark recesses of a car this will be very useful.Probes are very good, I bought an extra set and actually don't need them as these are sufficientTrue RMS as well so should be accurate.Manual appears to be written by someone who actually speaks English.Very pleased.

This DMM is very ruggedly built and packed with extras such as NCV (Non-contact AC voltage detection mode), Flash Light, Temperature Probe alongside all the usual features. The LCD is large and easy to read even when not backlit. The unit comes supplied with batteries and once installed the DMM is ready to go with the test leads supplied. The unit has a kickstand mount, nonslip casing, a very strong magnet on its rear and a hook hole type mount so it can be placed or attached to different surfaces for hands-free operation. I decided not to knock down to a four-star rating despite the supplied test leads being awful because this DMM the unit itself is accurately awesome when compared to my fluke. Buy yourself some quality test leads and you have possibly the only DMM you might ever need.

Very good for the price. Plenty of functions. Useful torch feature. One issue results in 3 star ease of use rather than 5. The default voltage option is dc. You need to change to ac using a non obvious mode button. If like me you use this for household electrics checking, then this is annoying. Bordering to on being a serious safety issue. If you forget then the reading is 0. You think the circuit is off but it might not be. At least the instructions are in readable English!

Great upgrade for my basic multimeter. Loads of functions, haven't used all of them but for measuring resistance and voltage on my arduino projects its for sure an upgrade. Big display and the variety of probes provided make this a well worth while purchase. I can't speak to some of the more advanced functions or accuracy for an average user im sure you wont be disappointed. P.S. the current detector probe built in has saved me from getting electrocuted by an appliance that was supposed to be turned off, so totally worth it!

Great product and works well for those jobs round the house. It looks and feels very professional for the money and you get a lot of extras too. This product comes with all you need to use it right away so no need to go and get batteries. the thermometer probe is great to calibrate the snake tank too. I feel 100% safe using this product as working round electrics can be dangerous.

ideal product at a sensible price. The large screen is a big help.

Item delivered as described. Ive not used it much but when i have, ive found it to be very easy to use. it has many usefull functions that dont usualy come on a multimeter of this price and the overall design is great. 1 thing i would have liked is some sort of storage solution for the accessories it comes with, similar to the clips on the back for the +/- probes.

The wires broke after a few weeks, so it is only good for continuity testing in it's present state, with voltage and current readings being much below what they should be until i buy replacement probes

Un po' massiccio....ma è per laboratorio, e non da portare dietro.Robbusto quanto serve ,ha il guscio in gomma che lo salva dalle cadute accidentali.Troviamo in dotazione .....puntali.....fusibili 2 pezzi....sonda termica....copripuntali gomma.... 4 mini stilo....istruzioni ....ma agitati.... ( Cioè non state tranquilli)......non vi è l'italiano.Funziona in tutte le sue musure...ottima la retro illuminazione del display che serve molto, come la luce frontale che se fate una misura su un quadro elettrico vi farà vedere meglio.C è una funzione interessante NCV che avvicinando la testa del multimetro a prese....interruttori....lampade...a altro ,se attraversate da tensione vi segnala con bip e lampeggio se sta sotto tensione.Altra facoltà di questo multimetro il range automatico ovvero regola automaticamente la portata della lettura.Buono l 'appoggio orizzontale sul tavolo e verticale ed in più un magnete posteriore lo fa attaccare a qualsiasi lamiera in ferro no alluminio.Comodo anche nel posteriore le sagome che reggono i puntali molto stabilmente.
