Though Garmin Instinct is one of the best sports watches available. I currently have one (blue). However I had problems with this particular color sent to me by four and seven seller. It's vibrator started making uneven noises during vibrations that made me to ask for the replacement and subsequent refund. Otherwise the watch honestly is a mini version of Fenix series of watches in terms of it's functionality....

These watches after warranty period, if you face problems.. it costs a lot..I had vivoactive4 which has battery problem.. it shuts down quickly when doing pulsox reading, GPS syncing,It's of no use for me , they said it will cost 12k RS to repair😂.. I am thinking of buying Apple watch

I have seen lots of good reviews because of i purchased now it's stopped no sencor is working no digital working its like dummy peace.

It serves to all my needs. I am a hard core hiker and this watch is very useful. Battery is fine. Features are more than enough. It's a raw tool with no fancy stuff. All that I wanted.

Easy set up & Garmin app walks you through the process, although when pairing my Android I did have to go through the troubleshooting steps. It took me maybe 15 minutes of turning on/off the watch, phone & app & then it paired. Once I set up permissions, my phone messages started to come through & it's easy to dismiss them. It doesn't appear you can reply from the watch, but you can read & dismiss or cancel. Seems durable, love the color & features. Having a backlight is great too. The watch face is large, but I find that appealing. I didn't initially buy a watch-face screen cover since the reviews indicated it was scratch resistant, but the face is so large, I'm considering a screen to prevent any scratches. You can't change the watch face with any apps but it had a variety to choose from built in to the watch. If you do change the watch face you can't change colors other than black & white/silver background & foreground information such as time, date, HR etc. Resting heart rate lags a few seconds & when I compare it to my Kardia ecg it is only a beat off, so it seems pretty accurate. It does have a feature too where you can get an alert once your HR reaches whatever limit you set. I haven't even delved in to the GPS functions yet, but it seems it can be mastered if you have a few minutes. I do like that it has some smart watch capabilities but has the feel of an outdoors watch.

Nice and rugged, love the colour, big and chunky. Amazing battery life, love the voice notifications during a workout e.g during indoor row 🚣🏻 my current heart rate is announced to me through my headphones 🎧. Decided to give it 5 stars but there are a couple of annoying issue that don't bother me now but may others.I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 with touch screen and thought I'd miss that but its not a problem at all. The watch has many programmable options available however it was initially very frustrating trying to set it up & activate exercise program. But after trial and error it's all set up the way I like it. Also the Connect IQ shop app doesn't really support the watch but Garmin Connect tracker works perfectly recording my workouts.For me it does exactly what I need it to do, tracking all my workouts and notifying email & messages etc whilst working & some extras I didn't expect.Overal so far I'm very happy with its functionality, performance and build.
