Oracle Deck
One of the reasons I purchased this deck was because of the beautiful artwork. Upon receiving the package and trying out my deck, I was even more pleased.Packaging:The packaging for the product is absolutely adorable and wildly convenient. It is a hard snap-case that allows for easy storage of both the deck and the small companion booklet.Companion Text:I'm not a huge fan of small books. The print tends to be incredibly small and difficult to read. This is no different with this companion text. However, the quality and descriptions of the cards are nothing short of amazing. One of the first cards I pulled had two entire pages dedicated to understanding the card. If makes reading the cards you pull for guidance or insight that much more powerful. The cards:Besides the artwork being quite amazing, the quality of the cards are just what I expected them to be, excellent! They are easy to shuffle, small enough to work with any hand size, and require little more than working with a deck of cards.Overall:I would recommend if you are someone looking to purchase this deck to go ahead and go for it. Everything you'll need is included and you will be more than pleased to receive your copy!

Very good, not what I was expecting.
idk, I thought it would be more about different types of trees, but instead, it is about parts of a tree and their generic life cycle. It is very well done. If the point of cards like this is to get you thinking about approaching life from a very different perspective, then these are great. Original and mind jogging.

Beautiful high quality deck
Love the box, the cards are lovely just as I expected, and I’ve enjoyed using them for journaling. My original intention was to use my own interpretation and reflections on the cards, so the big surprise for me was the guide book. I love the messages. They’re clear, direct, empowering, and inspiring.

It is a nice deck though I am not really drawn to it
The illustrations weren't quite the way I was expecting them to be. It is a nice deck though I am not really drawn to it.

beautiful and simple
The individual cards show one of 30 tree related symbols, such as Spring, Nest, Knot, Buds, Moonlight, Seeds, Wind, Branches Fallen and so on. The seven cards with human figures are thoughtfully depicted in a diverse coloring of skin tones. The little booklet is 96 pages of fairly small type and a short introduction and conclusion. Most of the booklet comprises the interpretations offered for the 30 cards, running about three pages each symbol, and showing a black and white reproduction of the card graphic on the first page of each symbol. Each card page also begins with a brief listing of words that summarizes the attributes of the symbol.Although card reversals are not specifically addressed or indicated as such in the booklet, the attributes summarized and the text explaining each symbol does speak of the contraindications of each attribute and metaphor. For example, for Tree Stump, the symbol is summarized as “Pride and the Old Ways” and the words listed before the text discussion run the range of a positive and also “negative”, or challenging, applications of that attribute: “Wisdom, experience, ancient knowing, established heritage, facing the inevitable, disregard, decay, reminders of loss, self-involvement, loss of stature.”We have of course, ancient and established relationships with trees. This oracle taps into the archetypal teaching that trees can reflect back to us, showing us, as a brethren species, how we all move through inevitable cycles in our life. The author/artist does not indicate specific types of trees—that has been covered in other tarot or oracle decks—thus keeping the oracle simple and focused on each metaphor for life’s passages. As an artist, I often work with wood, and we would do well to honor our intimate connection with trees and how they give to us in not only material benefit but also through inner plane instruction. When I desire simplicity in an oracle, then the Tree of Life will be helpful to distill inner questions toward the comforting message of tree wisdom.

Pretty original oracle
This is a very cute little oracle based on the secret life of plants, to call it something.THE GOOD STUFF> Original concept.> Very intuitive cards, something that I love. They can be really straightforward with their answers and it reminds me of the linearity in question-answer that I find in Kipper oracles.> Beautiful vintage-looking children-book illustrations.> Booklet has good quality paper and nice text.> Good quality beautiful sturdy keepsake box.NOT SO GOOD> Very small number of cards.> The cards coating makes them stick to each other so shuffling is deficient.> The back has poor contrast between background image and lettering.> Cards aren't numbered, but they are numbered in the booklet. As the cards are not alphabetically ordered in the booklet and are numbered, and the card has no number, you'll have to go through the whole index to find your card.
