It’s supposed to be oversized!
This fits our 16.3 hand mare perfectly! It’s big and loose so that she can still eat and drink but not shred her expensive blankets. When it first arrived I thought it was HUGE but our trainer explained why. Put it on a breakaway halter and it works like a charm!

Humane, Effective, and Worth it!
My horse had a chest incision that needed protection while it healed. The vet put him into a neck cradle. It was just cruel, frustrating, and downright dangerous. But he accepted this "bib" instantly - I imagine it felt like a water bucket to him. Gave him complete freedom of movement, but stopped him being able to pick at his wound (or pull at his dressings, blanket, or anything else) -- WITHOUT interfering with eating, drinking, or even playing with his buddies.

Too Big
Does not attach well to halter and is wayyy to big for anything less than a draft horse.

It works great! We didn't expect it to work this well and the horse doesn't seem to mind wearing it while he is recovering from leg surgery.

Lead poisoning
I just received this item. It has a sticker on it that says it may cause lead poisoning. Why would they make an item that a horse can wear while eating, drinking, and they could lick, that will give them lead poisoning?

huge and rigid
Way, way too big for any of my horses, including 16 plus hand warmbloods and thoroughbreds. Very rigid plastic. I wouldn't put it on a horse but others may be OK with it.
