I have never tasted caviar before, as this was on my bucket list, so I do not have anything else to compare it to. I have heard that the Russian caviar is the best caviar around, but I could not afford that, so I opted to the American caviar. I used the crackers especially sold with the caviar so I guess that helped me liking it. I used a recipe after surfing the Internet of cool cucumber, sour cream and the caviar spooned on top of it. It tasted great! I could tell a aftertaste of cold, raw fish like some sushi I have tasted before, but other than that, it was great! Different, cold, and crunchy as the roe is small, ball shaped. So this is what rich people eat at parties! lol

Look this isn't Russian caviar, but if you are going to put it on blinis or serve it with sour cream etc you cant beat this product . Mild in taste and not over salty im buying it again

We were caviar tasting and it was very good, but when you figure in the price and shipping it's a bit expensive. We actually didn't finish it :(

A little pricey, but I think it's worth it. Not salty, fresh and very tasty. I use water crackers, good brie, and a spoonful of caviar! Fantastic treat.

Incredibly disappointed with this order. I love caviar and my husband wanted to try it for the first time. I purchased this ninety dollar 1oz jar thinking it would be decent quality. Wow was I wrong! The amount of grit in this is ridiculous. I've never experienced grit in caviar before. How does that even happen? The tiny eggs were also just mush--no pop or firmness to them. What a letdown. I definitely will not order this brand again.
