Q: were they made in Poland?

I doubt it. The design is a simple cross not a christmas scene. If you want that more traditional look the best place to find it is at a catholic church with a large Polish population. They are larger and they usually sell them wrapped individually for $1 each donation.

Yes, they do have different images imprinted on them. They are beautiful. I highly recommend these without hesitation. I absolutely loved them, along with everyone else I passed them out to.

Q: what are the ingredients? Our family has some food allergies.

From what I understand, this is basically wheat. So, I think if you have a celiac allergies, this might not be a product you want. Water, yeast, and salt are the other ingredients. Hope this helps!!
