Great clock, just purchased my second
I purchased this clock about six years ago. The Amazon.com reviews were mixed but I thought I would take my chances. It worked beautifully -- it kept good time, was easy to see without my contacts, etc.Over the past few months, the batteries weren't lasting as long so I got a second one. Am just as happy with the sedond.

My second one
Love this, but after a short time, suction cups that secure to the wall give loose. I've tried many this to get this to adhere. Heavy

Great design idea but still in beta mode.
Briefly, I'm disappointed. I read at least one review that said that it didn't stick to the wall. I discounted that because I am good at getting suction cups to stick. And when I first received it I noticed that it has five separate little suction cups. But I now think that the suction cups are too small and work against each other and that one large suction cup would be better. - Anyway it fell off the tile surround of the bathtub and it fell off the wall above that. It even fell off the wall when it was sitting on the edge of the surround so that it had some support. I tried adding a little light glue to the suction cups and that didn't work. So I finally just put it down face up on the edge of the tub where I could see it. Alas, first the clock failed to work because the battery wasn't in firm enough. So I taped the battery and then tried it on the wall one more time in a place where it was supported at the bottom. The hour hand immediately dropped to the six o'clock position and stayed there. So now the clock doesn't work which someone in these reviews had also warned me about. - So BE WARNED. If you do go ahead and order this make sure that you put it to work immediately so that if it is going to fail for you it does so within the return period which appears to be 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Unfortunately for me I didn't give up soon enough. - While writing this I looked at the clock one more time. And I can now give you a HINT. Before you try to make the clock stick to a wall, first remove the clock from the outside shell that has the suction cups. That way you can access the back of each suction cup separately to push on each one firmly. With the clock in it's shell when you push on one side it lifts the other side up which is why it is so hard to get it to stick. After the shell is firmly where you want it then set the clock and return it to it's waterproof shell which is already on the wall. - It looks good. It is small but easy to read. It will cost you the price of a 3D movie to try out the clock along with my hint.

Keeps Time & Doesn't Fall
A simple product done well. It keeps time and so far the suction on the shower tiles is holding. That's all I wanted it to do and it's doing it well.

As recommened by Bill Nye, the science guy.
As recommended by Bill Nye, the science guy, in the WSJ as one of his favorite things, I purchased 6 - one for each of the grown children and ourselves. I agree with Mr. Nye! super cool to have in the bathroom as nice, quiet reminder of how quickly the time is passes or how much more time I actually have before the next thing is due. Instructions are not there as far as how to set it up, only how to set the time (push the clock out of the frame, push the battery into place and once it is working set the time) but once on mirror it doesn't move, slide or lose contact. Super good gift for all.

Water RESISTANT not Water PROOF
I think the reason for the mixed reviews here is the product's name (which was posted by the Amazon Marketplace Reseller) claims that it is waterPROOF. On the package, it says nothing like that. It says "Water Resistant" which is what it really is.So don't expect this to work in your shower. It's not designed for that. Water can easily creep in between the rubbery frame and directly touch the battery and electronics inside. But if you use it like how it's intended, such as on a backsplash of your sink, then you're fine.=== PRO's ===+ Nice Design. It actually looks better than the photo here. It doesn't have a milky white rubbery frame. It's actually clear.+ Easy to read display with a hand for seconds. The clock area (not including the rubbery frame) is 3" in diameter and large enough for the bathroom+ Comes with a battery=== CON's ===- The package also suggests using it in the bathroom, kitchen, office, locker, and more. You'll need to be careful about that. The 5 suction cups on the back are decent but they will eventually let go and your clock will drop. So you shouldn't locate it more than a few inches from the ground, tabletop, or countertop.=== OTHER NOTES ===A metal framed version Forma Suction Clock (Stainless Steel) (3.2"H x 2.10"W x 1"D) is also available. It has the same exact mechanism and also works in the bathroom (above the sink again... not in the shower). You might want to consider that one too. It depends on your taste and decor. I feel that the clear rubber frame of the one reviewed here works with a wider range of settings. Also, don't let your kids play with this clock. My 3 year old dropped and broke my metal framed version of this clock.

Keeps me on time
I've been using this shower clock for 2 years now and it's great. Sure it's fell a few times but nothing with suction cups is permanent. It does still work after falling off the wall to the floor, aprox 5 feet. The batteries it came with didn't last long, so it now has a recharagable one. It keeps me on time which is why I bought it. It's water tight as long as you don't open it while in the shower. I recomend it. Just push it tight against the wall every month and it doesn't fall off.

Little workhorse
I bought this clock for my husband for Christmas last year and it has kept time really well (except for the one time the batteries died). It has five suction cups holding it in place which do a decent job, however like all suction cups, they do eventually let go if you don't re-set them every few weeks. The great thing about this clock is that the outside casing (that covers the back and rim) is a respectable looking clear/translucent rubber like substance that won't dent your tub if/when the clock does fall. Now if I could just find a fogless mirror with this type of casing I'd be really happy...

Poor functionality
Not good at keeping time. I have to reset the clock every few days. I do not recommend this product, it's a waste of money!
