UltraCruz Canine Iron Charge¨ Plus is a new formula which provides similar active ingredients to our Liquid version, UltraCruz Canine Iron Chargeª, but is now provided in an easy to feed tasty chew! This formula is a supplement for dogs that contains important vitamins and minerals, such as Iron, a mineral that is essential for the formation of hemoglobin. Each serving provides iron (as Ferrous Gluconate), and a comprehensive selection of key vitamins and minerals designed to support energy and stamina in dogs. This high-quality supplement is excellent for use in dogs that are undergoing rigorous training, dogs that lack stamina, and dogs that are easily tired by exercise. This supplement supports energy levels by providing key factors important for energy in dogs, therefore helping to perform at a higher level for a longer period of time without becoming easily fatigued. The most important active ingredient in this formulation is Iron. In the hemoglobin molecule, Iron binds to oxygen and carbon dioxide, which allows hemoglobin to transport oxygen from the dog's lungs to muscle tissue and carry carbon dioxide away. This vital element helps your dog achieve the best level of performance.Zinc is involved in many enzyme systems in the body, ranging from connective tissue formation and antioxidant protection to carbohydrate metabolism and immune system function. It is most recognized for its role in supporting healthy skin and nails. Choline is an essential nutrient that is a precursor of acetylcholine (a neurotransmitter). Cobalt is necessary to produce Vitamin B12, which works with Iron and Copper to support healthy red blood cells.

Quality suppliment for my dog
My Belgian Malinois is a senior. She has always hated chewable meds. Much to my surprise she likes these. I give them to her with food since vitamins and iron may cause stomach upset. No constipation has occurred. Her tongue has pinked up and she has more energy.

Probably good. Maybe.
My dog has anemia due to lymphoma. I have been giving him these iron supplements along with liver to try and boost his numbers. His numbers have actually gotten much better. It is hard to know if it is because of the supplements, the liver, or other. But, I have his CBC and his anemia is better, so I am going to give this 5 stars because I do believe it at least helped.

For low blood counts these work!!
My big dog had been through a huge postoperative infection, and anemia set in. I fed him this tablets, which he gobbles down, along with liver. A month later his blood counts are improving, his tongue is pink again, and his energy is way better too!! Thank you!!!

NSAIDs can cause low iron.
I'm hoping the next blood test will look better. Taking nsaids regularly depletes iron and can cause anemia. His numbers were low so I've been adding this. He gobbles them right up.I honestly don't know if he likes it more or less than other treats. I put it in his meal, otherwise the other dog will not understand why he's getting treats that she's not, and she doesn't need them.

Life saver!
So I have a beautiful tiny chihuahua, her name is Violet. She's literally almost 2lbs and she's 2 years old. So she suffers from anemia, I started her on these vitamins when I noticed she was having seizures! After I started giving her these, she hasn't had any anemic episodes, and she's thriving! I'm so grateful I found this product! 10 out of 10!

Helped w/ Pica
I read the other reviews. My dog doesn't like it by itself either. I put a little peanut butter on it and she eats it right up. Our dog was having a new issue with eating tissues and napkins. I read that Pica might be due to an iron deficiency. So, I tried it out. After a month or two on these, she stopped. I'm ordering again.

My dog loves it
I read the reviews and that is what made me purchase this item. My dog's bloodwork showed some anemia so the vet suggested I get him an iron supplement. These are hard and may be difficult for some dogs whose teeth aren't the best. I put it in the microwave for 6 seconds and it is soft enough to eat. Best thing is my dog loves it and his anemia was gone after 3 months of use.

My dog loved them & took them with ease; however, it made him very ill.
I bought this for my dog who is anemic in order to help his iron levels. He took this with ease and loved the taste of this. Gave according to directions. However, each time I gave it to him, it upset his stomach. I tried on 2 different occasions and a few weeks apart.
