Replacement Pump for Whirlpool W10130913 & W10730972

I bought two water pumps for our front load washers because one machine wasn't pumping out the water and I wanted a spare. I replaced the water pump with one I had just purchased. When the water pump turned on it made a sound like parts were swirling around in the water pump. No water pumped out. I then replaced with the second water pump with similar result and problem. I worked on the machines when I had time but couldn't figure out the problem. Finally switched pumps with another machine and problem solved. Put the "new" pump in the other machine and had the same problem. Took me a long time to figure out and am out of return window.... Beware their parts!

Ordered this drain pump to replace a defective one on my 8 yrd old front load Whirlpool Duet washer. Amazed how simple it was to install. Waited until I had used the washer at least 9 or 10 times to make sure it worked correctly. It did. This seller will be the first one I check out if I ever need any other parts.

Almost 5 months to the day, and this pump has failed. The original pump lasted about 8 years. I took the pump apart and found out that the shaft seal has failed, and the motor housing was full of water. I'm ordering a new pump, but not this one again.

Item was delivered April 2 and installed the same day. On April 15 the pump broke. The price was cheap and quick delivery, but definitely not worth the situation I am in now. Thank God for YouTube since the item came with no install instructions.

Came in a box with no directions whatsoever, so some knowledge on replacing a pump is needed or YouTube is also a huge help. The part fit perfectly and my machine is fixed! Saved me a ton of money fixing it myself! I used it on a whirlpool duet model #wfw9550ww00. Replaced part #WPW10730972

Piece of cake to install. I have hard water in my home and the old pump last a long time however it needed to be replaced and this worked like a champ.

Had the pump for 3 months before it quit. It was loud and by the time it got to almost quitting it was already not draining properly.
