Thomas & Friends Wood, Thomas, 2Y+

My nephew loves those PBS-based cartoons and to find the toys to back them are a a blessing. He's happy and so am I. Thanks!

We were impatiently awaiting these trains to be delivered and we were not wrong .... immediately out of the box my son and I were in heaven !! I don't even know between him and me which of us was the most excited !! Lol these trains are a thousand times more beautiful than the pictures !!!! and they connect perfectly to give a "real and long train" as I wanted for my 2 and a half year old son who LOVES trains !!!! I took my time and chose 10 different models with different colors and finally it gave exactly what I wanted for my son !! ( see pictures) He spent all day and part of the night playing with it ... he finally fell asleep on them!!! ... and I'm sure he'll be on it the next day !! I recommend them 1 million times !! If I could put more stars I would have done it !! Parents do not hesitate for a fraction of a second !!! HIGHLY...HIGHLY...HIGHLY...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you Fisher price!!!

My son loves Thomas and enjoys the train. It is small enough it fits in his hands easily to move around. The train fits fairly neatly in the palm of my hand, it is slightly smaller than expected. Not that my 18 month old minds. It is durable and the wheels are well fixed on and not a concern for him to chew on or have dislodged. For those who are worried about it being a true to life replica of Thomas the tank engine, maybe miss the point of it being a kids toy, but that's just my thoughts.

My grandson loves it. He's into the throwing stage and so far it's held up beautifully. It's strong and durable despite it looks cheap in the pictures. The magnet is a great touch. Matches up with the other trains that have magnets.

I remember having these when I was a child (almost 30 years ago) so when a family members kid was obsessed with Thomas and had the wooden train track it was a no brained. Was as well built if not better than the ones I had as a child. One thing I forgot was how it felt when thrown in the air. Has good aerodynamic when thrown by a 2 year old and hits me in the head

Love these little trains!! These have seriously been the best and toy of choice for my son. Since we bought Thomas, I have also purchased Diesel, Rosie & Percy. Very durable toy and yes they are a small but perfect for little hands. I read some people were complaining about the magnets not being strong enough. The magnets on all of our trains are great! If you have a Thomas fan in your house, these little guys are well worth it!

Thomas and friends are quite a cult, so you have to have it. And the books, of course. VERY happy to see Thomas is no longer limiting himself to male friends; we also bought Caitlin. (Not much in the books about the girls yet, so waiting on that.) All that aside, the quality of these is not as good as Brio, but probably sells more widely. It looks like the Thomas tracks are changing... maybe to differentiate from Brio and Brio knock-offs? Not sure how well that will work.

This review is for all the Thomas & Friends Fisher-Price Wood magnetic trains. Terrific!!!! Great value!!! I usually reserve my purchases to when there is a sale or clearance to save money. My grandson, granddaughter, and I love these trains. We take turns on who gets what trains to play with on the tracks. I must admit I have as much fun with these as the kids do.
