Continental Grand Prix 5000 Performance Road Bike Tire

Great tyres, never had an issue

Bought these 28's. Jumped up from original 23's to 25's over the last 5 years then heard about these 28's. What a difference, ride feels smoother probably as you run these about 10 to 15 psi less. Feel a lot more confident cornering at speeds. If it helps, I was concerned these wouldn't fit on my wheels Mavic Carbone 40cms, but no problems at all, just make sure they fit your frame, mines a Pinarello Think 2 about 6 years old, loads of room.

These tires are the best I've ever ridden. Expensive but tick all the boxes. Fast on and off road. Very unexpected levels of off road grip in wet and dry. Wear rate is low and puncture resistance is surprising. They smooth out road bumps and absorb impacts very well. Set up a pair of these tubeless and they will put a smile on your face!

Having used the previous version of these tyres, the GP4000, which are no longer available, I upgraded to the latest version, the GP5000.Very pleased, as they seem to offer increased puncture protection, The same inspiring grip, in both wet and dry conditions.I have no reason not to believe that these tyres will achieve the same sort of mileage & impressive wear.Although not the cheapest, you get what you pay for, I've recently purchased another pair for my other road bike ✅

Works very well and doesn't have any problems yet, good grip and it survived a day on bumby Irish roads covered in chips

Item ordered arrived as expected and was packaged well and was as described.

I’ve had these tyres a couple of times now and they are great, on my third set now and although I have had punctures the sealant you need to use along side the tyres seals them instantly. Last two sets I’ve had to replace are due to wear rather than fault, awesome tyres!

Probably the best tyres out there for weekend warriors and commuters but not indestructible!! Bit annoyed got puncture on second ride in to work but that’s probably the sh@t on London roads not the tyres. Holding up well 400 miles in.

Parece poca cosa, pero en verdad que estos neumáticos te den más velocidad con menos esfuerzo. Claro, que son caras pero una vez que las pruebas, no se vuelve a comprar llantas baratas.

Son una cubiertas excelentes, muy muy ligeras y resistentes, su desempeño en carrera es genial, lo único malo es que se desgastan rápido, pero es entendible por el público que las usa, generalmente solo para competir por su buen desempeño en curvas

Based on my experience- these tires are expensive, but worth it. I have four road bikes. Over time, I've replaced all of their tires (except my "touring bike") with GP-5000. (the tires on my touring bike are still good, so it's TBD what I'll eventually replace them with).I find them to be fast (low rolling resistance), comfortable (at 135lb, I use 25mm, 85PSI front/90PSI rear on smooth roads), and durable (I've never had a flat on these- despite several flats on other tires).One thing though- these tire can be tough to install. In my experience, I had to struggle to install on one of my wheelsets- pinching an inner tube in the process. It was worth the trouble though, because they roll great.
