I am a total beginner at learning Hanguel (Korean). These stories are short and fun. Most of the sentences have helpful translations. As I improve, I think I will read faster :-)

I felt a little stuck in where I was at with reading comprehension and reading out loud. This book is the perfect next step. Most of the stories are pretty easily understandable and the pronunciation explanations and translations are super helpful. Would definitely recommend for advanced beginners.

This is an amazing book. It has helped me improve my Korean pronunciation greatly and I have learned so many new vocabulary words. I love that they provide an audio with this book and they speak slowly. Also, I have learned more about Korean culture. Thank you TTMIK for this wonderful and helpful book. I highly recommend it.

I am the type of learner that likes a little trial and error/figure it out and this book has been a great way to push my reading and pronunciation skills since I can use the vocab and audio tracks to correct myself. Highly recommend!

This book isn’t too easy not too difficult. It had some interesting topics and included some important learnings.

The book was easy to read and the stories covered most of the grammatical rules learned from beginner to advance beginner level.

I am not sure I would say that it is a beginner level. Readable but the level of knowledge of Korean would have to be more than beginner. Good for practice. Found another reading book set, 'Easy Korean Reading' by Jeanie Kim and Jon Tae Lee, which was much easier.

So I just needed some extra reading practice to go alongside the TTMIK books (only level2 so far) and BillyGo's youtube series. And these shirt stories are perfect for that. They have audio files to follow along with and pronunciation section after each story, and also vocabulary within the story. I have been re-reading the same few stories as practice and each time remember a bit more and recognise the words and meanings of the stories, and then I'll add another short story to my session. Slow n Steady! Plenty of short stories with some challenging parts for complete beginners, but very helpful and great practice!
