Worked great for a small (50 people) outdoor wedding
We used the mic and speaker for our daughter's wedding. The sound quality and volume was fine. The portable speaker was convenient to use for the wedding and then the reception, which was nearby. It was nice to not deal with speaker wires. The instructions were a little difficult, but with a little of trial/error, we figured it out.

Impressive
I am very impressed with this little unit. It's puts out a clear and loud enough sound for a small room and group. The only thing missing is a line out jack, so that you can connect it to a larger system for a larger room and group.

After a time it's easy to use and help is quick from the company.
Love the battery life, sounds and you can hear it clearly in a big room.

Could not get the Mic to pair with the speaker - tried for 4 hour
I could not get the Mic to pair with the speaker - tried for 4 hour. I checked product website and other blogs but could not get it to work. When I plug in one of my microphones, without the wireless the microphone with a cord works. I sent a message last week to the manufacture but have not hear from them yet. thank you John

Good value for small organizations - 60 to 100 seated attendees
It's pretty unattractive - but the sound is fine

Depending on intended use, could be great, could be "Meh"
I'm really torn writing this review, as there are certain aspects of this little powerhouse that I really like and certain features that are really frustrating. Depending on your intended use, I bet this unit could range from between 2- to 5-stars. Let's explore it's strengths and weaknesses.Let's start with the good stuff. For a 30W speaker, it's got some punch where volume is concerned. If you're intending to use this as a an easily portable PA system for voice amplification (and play some music along the way), you'll probably love it. Keeping expectations realistic (you're not going to fill your church hall or a stadium with the sound), this will make it so you don't have to shout to a large classroom size or small outdoor gathering. Buskers everywhere will love this thing's size and portability. The volume controls are easy to use. The mic volume is completely independent of the master volume knob. You can easily add some echo to your mic as well, which is a fun little feature, especially if you're planning to use it for its karaoke feature.See the attached video for a demo of the karaoke button. It's kind of cool how it can take the lead vocals out of a track. Sadly, this feature's effectiveness is uneven. The video demonstrates one of the better efforts I tested. Billy Joel tracks tested worked pretty well, too. Some other bands (especially hard rock) didn't work at all -- the sound occasionally gets decimated to the point of almost unrecognizable. If you have proper karaoke tracks (with the vocals already removed) this will not be a problem, of course. When my kids discovered this feature, they took the unit and sang along with favorite songs for an hour without regard to overall audio quality, so there's that. It's got the potential to be lots of fun.The included microphone is of good quality and is well-matched with the unit. It pairs instantly, has decent battery life, and a functional range of around 30' before it gets scratchy. The battery life of the speaker itself seems good, too, but I can't honestly say I've but it through an end-to-end torture test yet. The speaker is light weight (could easily be carried about by a small child), has a good handle and a stout plastic shell. I don't know that the unit would survive a 6' drop, but it should put up with minor dings and bumps. The unit has a number of ways you can input sound (bluetooth, 1/4" mic jack, 1/8" audio cable in, USB) which makes it versatile. All connectivity methods are easy to use. The bluetooth pairs easily with a phone and the USB can read MP3, WAV, and WMA files. On to the not-so-good: How's the sound quality, you ask? (Sigh.) I guess I might have different standards than many of the other reviewers here. It's not terrible, but it's nothing you'd want to show off to your friends. If you're intending to use this as a bluetooth speaker for home audio use, look elsewhere. There are far superior sounding speakers for quite a bit less expensive. There's a constant buzz/hiss like you're listening to the radio, even if you're not. You'll probably not notice it if you're more than 10' away from the speaker or if you're listening at higher volumes, but at low volumes you'll notice the constant "whooshing". Speaking of radio, I'm not sure why they included an FM tuner on this unit, first because who's going to buy this as a radio, and second because, well, it simply doesn't work. Good luck getting a signal unless you live inside the station.Another challenge for this system is actually figuring out some of the included functionality. The included manual is next to no help, save for the troubleshooting table. Everything else, you'll probably figure out faster simply by tinkering. Some of the higher-level functions (looping, REC/PLAY, etc...) get very little print, and what's there is almost non-sensical. My guess is that you need an additional USB flash drive to even make that work, meaning the unit does not have any built-in memory. Still haven't been able to get it to work. Again, if you're going to be doing any live looping/recording, there's going to better dedicated equipment for that purpose. Here's the bottom line: DON'T buy this for audio quality. DO buy it for the purpose of having a versatile little portable amplifier.
