Wonderful Wok!
Bought this to use on a new induction burner. It really works! I am most impressed by the even cooking and how well it holds the cooking temperature. It cleans up easily with a little warm soapy water. Best of all, because it is stainless steel, I can cook citrus and vinegar sauces without worry.Having pour sprouts on both sides is a plus for a lefty like me The wok feels very substantial without being heavy. It is a good-looking addition to my kitchen at a very reasonable price.

Steam escapes (ever so slightly) from mine and nothing at all like that happened
I only just got mine, but just using it a few times, I can tell you it's high quality. I read one review wherein someone mentioned the lid creating a vacuum effect and shattering. I'm not sure how that happened - maybe whoever that was received a defective one. Steam escapes (ever so slightly) from mine and nothing at all like that happened. The handle does not warm when you are cooking with it, and the helper handle is a nice feature. The handle on the lid, however, does heat up quite a bit, so you'll need a potholder when you grab that. Other than that, it is awesome and well worth the money. Also convenient to have the clear lid. It's so beautiful looking you almost don't want to use it (lol). Being dishwasher safe is also a big plus for me. My other pots and pans are also stainless steel, but have to be hand washed. That gets old. If you're looking for a nice, stainless steel fry pan, this one is great. Calphalon did a great job.

Good pans for a very good price.
I have used an old, fully stainless, calphalon pan for years. It has been my go to cooking tool. However, felt I could use a couple more fully stainless (no non-stick) in my rotation, so I thought I'd try out new Calphalon. I noticed right away that the similarly sized pan doesn't have the density/heft that the old one did. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance though. It is not quite as good I think due to the thinner material of the pan. I don't think it will hold up as well over years of use as the old one, but I believe the old one will never wear out. For good quality pans that I still believe will last for at least a decade or two, and without nasty chemical non-stick I am happy I made this purchase. I use the larger pan almost every day and it has helped having extra pans to work with. For the most part the handle doesn't heat up much at all. I have not had to use "bar keeper's friend" to clean it which is great. I don't want to have to buy a special product to wash my pots/pans. Most of the time I just leave it to soak in some dish soap and it cleans up. Only once I had to use steel wool, but it cleaned up a scorch with a little elbow grease. I would also advise that you perhaps temper the steel the first time using it. All I did was heat it up gradually, working my way slowly up to high heat. Don't know if you have to do this, but I see it as akin to breaking in new shoes. I would be willing to pay more for the old quality = note to Calphalon. Yet so far I am happy with the function of these pans, and feel they were a great product for the price.

Everything you could want in a pan!
Love these. Started collecting the set for our wedding registry and I bought these on my own. They are fabulous. They’re just as easy to clean as nonstick (if you know how to cook with SS, lower heat than non stick bc they conduct soooo much better).I have an induction cook top and they are fabulous with it. They are beautiful, functional, easy, and all the other things you might want ina pan. I’m so glad I went from ceramic to SS, I will never go back.Just please if you haven’t cooked with SS before do some research so you don’t scorch and ruin these wonderful pans!!!

Great pans for an induction cooktop
I had been having problems with food sticking to my expensive, non-stick pans for awhile. Finally, I had had enough and started looking for deals on non-stick pans. I have an induction cooktop, so I needed pans that were induction compatible. I found these pans on sale, and decided to give them a try. They were the size that I needed and the price was right. They arrived quickly, and I immediately started using them. We have been very happy with the results. Food slides off the surface, and clean up is a breeze. If I ever find the 12" pan on sale, I am getting that one as well.

A good quality and versatile wok
I am loving this wok. It is good quality but also light to pick up so I don't end up having sore wrist. I am using it for everything from scrambling two eggs to cooking a full pot of soup. For scrambling eggs, I heat it up on medium high, swirl some coconut oil around the pan, take it off the heat and pour the eggs in. Stir and scrape a few times and add a bit of butter, the eggs are done; fluffy and moist. Clean up is a breeze. Nothing sticks; way better than teflon which I have abandoned forever.
