It was time for me to re-order milk thistle and thought i really should review this product for others. I finally found a milk thistle supplement without cheap fillers that most supplement companies use. My husband has fatty liver disease and through research on what may help, milk thistle is on the top of the list but not all supplements are created equal. Do your own research and discover what I did, do not purchase any supplements with magnesium stearate or other cheap fillers. Mortar and Pestle Herbs milk thistle is just what I was looking for, am very happy with this product and now I won't buy any other brand. It is also helping with my occasional acne. If you are looking into taking supplementation, I highly recommend this brand.

I was having digestive problems, such as bloating after eating, as well as belching (even hours after eating). This product addressed both issues, and I no longer experience digestive discomfort. The suggested dose is 2-3 capsules daily. However, I found that three pills was too much for me, as it caused mild constipation. Reducing the dose to 1 capsule, twice a day (with breakfast and dinner) fixed that problem without diminishing the digestive benefits.

I purchased this as a natural alternative for my dog who had elevated liver function. I sprinkle it onto her food and she does not notice the flavor which is a bonus! She is very fussy about flavors.
